American Deli — Restaurant in Georgia

An embarrassment to the franchise. Orders are always late and constantly missing items. Last time I went they forgot my fries. The time before that, they forgot my wings. The time before that it was my chicken tenders. Had to stop getting it delivered because every time it would arrive my containers would have such large burn holes in them that my food would leak in the bag. Like they took it straight out the grease and put it in the container with no wax paper to catch it. The lady who works security around the mall was kind enough to inform me that they had actually closed for five days due to a bad health inspection 2 weeks prior to me writing this. I don’t know what the grade was because they failed to put it on display like they’re supposed to but it had to be atrocious for them to have to close that long for a deep clean. And then the service is horrible. It’s ran by two ladies that barely speak English and are very attitudish with customers. I’ve experienced this first and secondhand. What sucks is it’s one of the two food spots in the food court, but I honestly believe it needs to close. It’s not ran...

I’m already 34 years old, with my 67yr old mother. That day, the cashier & workers at American Deli won’t stop racially profiling calling me “CHEENA” and “CHEENO“ (meaning Chinese) in Spanish directly at me, right after I had just purchased food from them. I already sat down at a table and started eating when this happened. The male worker & the female worker kept continuously saying the words, nonstop 4 or 5 times in my direction WHILE I TRY TO IGNORE them and eat my food. Condoning racism against me.

They kept making me look at them, and they laughed and evil grinned at me. Making me feel very uncomfortable discriminated since 1998.

(Hispanics had been doing this to me since the year 1998, Pure Racism.)

Please tell them to don’t racially profile me, just because they want to get to know me, as I only speak English. I’m a Racial Harassment Victim. Because nobody likes to be mocked called back you Mexican’ in which I will never do this...

Since they fired the ENTIRE old staff this place has lost everything that made it the BEST AmericanDeli around. The staff are inexperienced, rude, and lazy. The fries are the same quality but not the wings. You have to season your own fries and check if they put celery/carrots with your combo; because when I went they forgot it and proceeded to say they didn't have any, or at least not any cut up and ready. They also lacked any sweet tea or unsweetened tea. My mom LOVED this spot, her go to wing spot but this new crew is just not welcoming or understanding. No attempt at making conversation and trying to argue with customers. Wings are too wet, and not crispy. The whole new menu layout is also terrible. Overall the WORST change made to a GREAT AmericanDeli. If it ain't broke...
