My patience and faith in God was tested at this restaurant tonight. The disrespect and absolutely horrible service at this place tonight is the worst I've had my whole life. I love jr crickets and have always gone to this location or midtown. Today I called to do a pickup order and the guy kept putting me on hold and forgetting I was there. After the 3rd call I was able to place my order and he answered like he forgot I was on the other line. I get my order placed for a 30 piece no fries, he confirms it back with me and says 20 minutes. I am driving with my dog as I am going to a family members house. I get there 30 minutes after since it was a 30 minute drive for me and he said did you already place and order and I said yes for Nana' he said was it Nadia i said no. He flipped through the booklet and walked in the back. He said he didn't have an order with my name but was if a 30 piece or 20. I said 30 he responded and said we only have 20 and would have to make another 10. I explained my dog was in the car and it was frustrating having to call 3x and the order still be wrong. He said are you over 21. I said yes but I don't want a drink I just want the food and to leave. I don't want the 20. He says hold on I'm gonna see what I can do and goes in the back. I call to see if the other person I was ordering still wants the food they do. He comes back I said can I just get the 20 is fine I need to go and he said oh they already put sauce on it for another order. I was really trying to keep calm and he says I'll see if she can add a discount. I assume she is a manager because no way she's the owner and no way she needs a job there. The walls are thin! All I hear is I'll go out there and talk to her you know how these people be. He said no no I got her order wrong and she said yea but either she wants the food or she doesn't. You don't need to feel the need to add a discount to help them. At this point I mentally have to pray because the ratchetness and boldness through a door was amazing to me. He comes out we now have 6 people waiting and if I'm lying I hope the owner watches the cameras, he didn't help or ask any of them what they needed. He told one lady he order was ready and went back to continue to gossip with the heavy set lady in the back with red nails. The customer asks did they need to put anything else in the bag to the nice order guy there. When the same tall guy with piercings comes out I was telling my friend what the lady said about you know how these people be and they told me to leave. I was debating on whether my love for Jr crickets was worth all this. Then he goes to the back again and all I hear from the lady is I don't care I I give a damn etc etc. This is the most unprofessional display I've ever experienced and I really hope this locations gets rid of the ex popeyes employees and get more workers and definitely a higher standard on...
Read moreOriginal post: Ordered via Uber Eats but did not get what I ordered. Refused to refund/replace without returning item. Won't be taking the chance in the future with their terrible service.
Follow-up to owner: The utmost respect would have been fixing the problem over the phone as I asked your manager to do, not forcing your customer to drive to your restaurant to get an order fixed your own staff admitted was incorrectly done. You could still make it right by providing a refund or discount as most respectable restaurants do in situations like this even when they straighten the order out. After all, your failures wasted my time when all I asked for was a refund for food I did not want to eat because it wasn’t what I ordered. You know there is no buttton on Uber Eats to request swimming and that it clearly says that the restaurant will alter pricing for special requests. You simply failed if you think that you have acceptable customer service. I see based on numerous comments that I’m not alone, and I’d recommend some introspection rather than acting like your response that blames me somehow demonstrates anything but my very point about your poor service. Finally, I did not throw my food at the manager. I threw it onto the bar because I was quite frustrated as I sure many others would have been. Luckily, I can get JR Crickets excellent wings at one of the many other locations in town that treat their...
Read moreFrom 5/28/21. I've tried to stop here multiple times during and post pandemic. Their posted online hours are incorrect but to add insult to injury I've arrived multiple times during their "pandemic hours" to find them closed. Tonight was the last straw. Arrived on a Friday night st 11:43pm and doors are locked. You can hear voices partying inside. Pandemic hours say they close at 12:30. Google says they close at 1:00am. Moving my 2 star review from 4 years ago to 1 star because google won't let me go to ZERO.
From 4 years ago... We went on opening night and was not impressed. We ordered food to go and I had a Makers rocks while I waited. The Makers was a single, severely under-poured, and cost $9!!! The food wasn't great, fries were over cooked and the chicken was also dry but smothered in a tasty sauce which helped. In general it was overpriced. $45 with small tip on a single shot drink, 10 piece, and 20 piece wings to go is just WAY too much.
If you want chicken go to Fork In the Road in Northlake mall for much better tasting food and huge portion sizes. Otherwise Kobe House for sushi and hibachi on the other side of the Plaza is a great option. Either are a MUCH better value.
I will give them another chance after they've been open for awhile (and update my review accordingly) but for now they have a lot...
