If I could give ZERO stars, I would for this location!!! Here's why: Terrible service at the Thorton Road location. Ordered online yesterday, May 16th, 2019, at 7:20pm and selected the time for pick-up to 7:45pm. I had just pulled into the parking lot to pick up my order at 7:35pm when I got a call stating that they no longer had Prime Rib for the 2 pasta dishes that I had ordered so I had to settle with chicken and broccoli Alfredo. At this time, I had already sat in the parking lot for now 10 minutes for my order to be brought out which would have made the time 7:45pm, my pick-up time. Mind you, I have a very hungry husband and 7-year old in the truck with me and it's getting closer to my daughters bed time. So at 7:50pm, I go inside of the establishment to see what the hold up was. As soon as I had walked through the door, the manager had walked by and said that he will seat me as soon as possible, he had his hands full from clearing a table which I understood that he needed a moment to empty his hands no problem at all. He comes back and goes to seat me and I told him that I was there for a pick-up which then he told me to please have a seat at the bar and someone will help me there. (very kind when he said it.) I sit at the bar and at this time, it's already 8:00pm and the bartender comes up to ask me if I was waiting on an order which I replied yes and gave her my name on the order. She goes to the back, comes back to the bar and proceeds to tell me its going to be another 10-15 minutes until my order is ready. (It's already now 8:10pm..... What happened to 7:45??) So I sat at the bar thus now being ignored, no casual conversation from the bartender. It's now 8:30pm! Finally at 8:40pm my order FINALLY comes out and my daughters bedtime is quickly approaching at 9:30. When the server who was taking care of my order comes out, her name is Gabriella, I had asked her was there a difference in the total since I had to change meals for me and my Husband. She tells me that she will go check and takes off to the back of the store. Mind you, it is now 8:50..... That's supposed to be a very quick question to be answered and I stood there for another 5 minutes. I get frustrated and finally walk out with my order just complaining under my breath that each time that I have given this location chance after chance, I continue to get more and more disappointed with this place and that I will never come back. Last night was honestly the last straw with how slow everyone was moving and such. I will no longer be bringing my business here to this establishment and I will from now on drive the extra 20 minutes to the Cobb Parkway location as the service has always been top notch there. I will never EVER come back to this location! I Usually have the patients to wait but when I have a hungry child and husband that's tired from work and school along with the establishment not being busy, this is by far ridiculous with how the service went. If you want terrible service, this is the place for you. But if you want a better experience, take your money to the one on Cobb Parkway by Cumberland Mall. Their service has always been top notch and super friendly!! AVOID LITHIA SPRINGS...
Read moreI was so mad last night after order to from here! First off I call and ordered 2 burger combos to go! Get there order wasn't ready which wasn't a problem. The problem came when I received the order it wasn't right which I knew it wasn't gonna be! How I knew it would be wrong was because when placing the order over the phone and asked the lady to repeat the order back it was wrong! So I asked the lady to repeat the order again thinking that maybe this time she actually wrote it down or typed it in the system! Nope! Get there waited about 20 minutes for my order and it was wrong! Now when you tell someone you ONLY was certain things on your sandwich that mean that you ONLY want those condiments on your food! She tell me what comes on the sandwich like she was gonna make me eat the sandwich how she wanted me to and then had an attitude about it! The manager was non chalant about the situation! Had to wait 15 more minutes for them to make it right and it still wasn't right because this time I didn't have any fries! Instead of her just replacing the whole order from jump I had to tell her that the manager took my whole order back and now I was missing my fries! I left completely upset and dissatisfied!!! Never will visit this location again! Was my second time trying this location out and wasn't upset both times! The first time I visited I had just gotten off work and was trying to enjoy a meal by myself before heading home to my husband and kids! And was never waited on sat at a table for 30 minutes patiently and then a couple walk in a gets waited on before me! So I just will never return to this location ever again! Was visiting because of convenience but I'll go out the way next time! And the lady that took my order name was Alvencia or something like that! I know I'm petty for putting her on blast but it's ridiculous how careless these restaurants are about...
Read moreI frequent this Applebee's weekly with a group of friends ranging anywhere from 3-10 people on any given visit. Its usually kind of slow because of the 1/2 price apps, but this last visit was truly disappointing. There were 5 of us and one child in my group. We order waters and the special drink of the month. Our server mentioned the specialty drink was a pre-made batch in a dispenser, so it was baffling that it took 25min for us to get water, and another 15 for the drinks to come.
We ordered our food (5 apps, 2 cups of soup, 2 side salads, and one kid's meal) with the drinks b/c we know it usually takes a while to come. It took another 15-20min after we finally got our drinks for HALF of the food to come out.The other half finally came out after we called for a manager.
When we requested the manager, she came over " with a speaker in her throat" as one of my friends commented. I wouldn't say yelling, but she was definitely louder than necessary and had an attitude when we told her the issues. She practically dismissed this issue and claimed the entire restaurant ordered at the exact same time and ordered the exact and thing.
Even if that were true, why didn't the server come tell us there was a delay, why did it take 25min for water to come, why did it take 40min for PRE-MADE drinks to come, why was only half of our food brought out and why did it take so long for the other half??!!!
Anyway, the manager continued speaking to us in the same sharp, condescending manner so one of my friends asked her to leave because we were getting upset with her tone. We weren't looking for anything but an easy meal after a long rehearsal and what we got was rudeness and poor service.
We go there weekly, but never again. They've lost...
