I came back two years later to elaborate a bit. When my wife and I moved to the area in 2009, I was on the lookout for good chicken wings. I had my place in Vinings that took me a couple years to find, so I was willing to be patient. Hell, I don’t know when this place opened, so that may have been what took me so long. Really, it’s not their fault. There’s lots of restaurants, and I wasn’t allowed to order chicken wings once a week since I was no longer single and had nobody to answer to. Sure, my belt had gotten tighter, but the chicken wing tryouts were fun.
Anyways, I happened by this place completely on accident. The wife wanted some Mexican food or something, and as we stepped out of the car, a familiar aroma made its way to my nostrils: chicken wings. I would have happily abandoned her right then and gone for wings, but I was patient, and decided to bide my time. I struck when the time was right (the next day at lunch) and was immediately hooked.
Y’all, check it out: I’m not even exaggerating. I call these people up and I’m all like “yo, lemme get an order to pick up” and they’re all like “is this Nick?” “Hell yeah this is Nick.” “Cool, you want your regular?” That’s how well they know me. Straight up. I fully expect them to just tell me one day “we’ve been waiting for your call. Your 15 wings hit with blue cheese and a side of fries is waiting.”
This place is great. The wings are wicked good! That's probably where they got the name....
Read moreSo first of all I love this place. It is my place to go to watch sports and hang out with friends and make new friends but I have a problem. They changed their wicked wing sauce to a cheaper no where near as hot or good hot sauce to save some money. The first time I went to wicked wings I went because I heard they had some really hot wings which is what I like. Last night I went and ordered what I always do 10 traditional wicked wings wet and when I looked at them I could already tell it wasn’t the same sauce because it wasn’t a bright fiery red and then when I bit into them my suspicions were confirmed. They tasted like regular Buffalo sauce not hot at all and not a good flavor. I will still go to wicked wings because I like the people and enjoy watching sports there but the original reason that I liked it so much is gone. I hope the owner sees this and goes back to the original wicked wing sauce and I don’t mind paying more for them if the price of the sauce is an issue. I know I’m not the only one who is upset about it because the server last night even said a lot of people have mentioned the sauce not being as good so hopefully more people will comment on this and they will bring the...

I ordered 10 wings and a beer. The definition of healthy. The blue moon was cold and served with an orange and the wings came with ranch and the typical side items.
The flavors are good. I ordered the Siracha ranch and the sweet chili. However the quality of the wings themselves were inferior. Lots of skin with pieces of dark chicken mixed through. I ended up not eating all the wings but I feel that with better quality wings they would be amazing.
I haven not tired the other items but I will come back and try some more. Many of the locals, all of whom were greeted by name as they entered, only ordered sandwiches and salad.
In summary coming here feels good and the energy feels good. There was no people watching during the lunch crowd so come and...
