Tried of Dunkin and Starbucks decided to google breakfast on my route to work and so happy this place was at the top of my search. I always go straight to the reviews when trying something new and the 1st paragraph of the 1st review sold me when the lady described her experience and how delicious their Ham & Cheese Croissant was. Let me tell I totally agree with her review. I’m big on customer service, how I’m greeted and the appearance of an establishment. When I walked up to the counter I did not have to wait to be greeted. I mention that it was my 1st time and wasn’t sure what I wanted other than that ham & cheese croissant I read about, another lady behind the counter instantly jumped in and co-signed my choice and also notice I was looking at the sign on the counter which featured their Wednesday dinner options. She explained to me that the feature dishes are really good and I should also try the Rasta pasta that they may feature next week. The other young lady at the register suggested I try their in house signature latte and yep it was a perfect blend nice and smooth with a kick just like I like it. Oh and my ham & cheese croissant was indeed airy with buttery crisp to perfection stuffed with yummy ham & cheese.
I’ve already shared this location with others and will definitely be back! Oh and I usually spend about $14 a day 5x a week at Starbucks, Dunkin and so times when I want to be fancy I visit Parish Baguette in Duluth…lol not anymore! I’ve been looking for a cozy spot like...
Read moreVisited for the first time this morning. I will not be back. I asked your typical first visit questions.....pointing at the menu on the wall asking if that was the only menu since it only listed drinks? I was wanting food as well. Again, i asked pointing at the few sweet pastries if thats all they had? The young lady at the register answered yes. Not offering any other information. Later i saw other items being brought out like a quiche or something along those lines. I settled for a slice of banana bread and a large vanilla latte. The coffee was great. The bread was just ok. I didnt even eat half of it. Not worth my $6. I was meeting a friend on my rare day off. She too had never been. She had a little trouble ordering her coffee because she had never been there. She decided on a macchiato. Asked about caramel but was told no and then the same young cashier quickly rattled off the flavors. Well once she got her small.....very small coffee she didn't like it and they kindly offered to make her a vanilla latte. But we felt like they were snickering behind our backs. While we were there a large group came in and asked if it would be ok to move a table and chairs. The other women said sure but her face was not happy about it. Once my friend and i left, we over heard the workers say im glad to see them leave as we were walking out the door. Really?? Nope. Will not be back and its a shame because i try hard to support local places...
Read moreThis place is always closed and the first time I went there I didn’t say anything even though they completely ripped us off. The coffee was delicious and we had ordered danishes and even though they charged us they didn’t give them to us and when we asked for them on our way out because they never brought them to us they said they were sold out and because we’re nice people we just said ok and left,, but they still charged us for them. We asked if they would take them off of our check and they just walked away. It was definitely intentional. I decided to just never go back and let it go but not Now, I’m very upset because my daughter went there for a fundraiser today and the same thing happened to her so I want to make it clear to watch your check and pay close attention to what you order and what they charge you for. She has extreme allergies to milk, even has an epipen and ordered accordingly. She thought it tasted weird and told them to please remake it and they assured her it was fine even though she double checked. She is young and trusted them....
