Why havenāt I reviewed this place yet??
So our usual pizza shop which was like wifey closed down in Grayson and when we had our new house built in the Brookwood area we had to find a replacement. After dating a few businesses we decided to make Dogwood Pizza our second wife and the marriage is beautiful!
Customer service: They should build an academy and show people how to get it done. Itās mind-blowing how amazing they treat their customers. Even better is how you are treated afterwards! Most businesses fail here because theyāve already secured your hard earned money. However, Dogwood Pizzaās follow up game is on point. Iāve only had a pizza issue once (this is out of like 50 orders - Iām saying this with pride and embarrassment since Iāve only been eating here for less than a year) and they went out of their way to make it right.
Delivery: ā¢They have 10% off all online orders which is a plus. ā¢Delivery is $3 which I think is pretty low. ⢠It is on time almost every single time and I mean Every. Single. Time! (Within 3 minutes of projected window). Their delivery team are like little ninjas.
One time the manager called me to inform me that my pizza would be 5 minutes late and apologized. I didnāt have to call, complain, etc. (not that I would have anyway ... how many times is Pizza Hut 40 minutes late and tells people to kick rocks and deal with it??) Talk about being proactive right?
Cleanliness: I go on the county site and check the food health reports for every single place I eat at. Drive throughs, sit downs, etc. then I check why theyāve been deducted points. This place has an impressive track record on their reports!
Taste: The pizza is very good. I like mine with pineapple and jalapeƱos (hand tossed). Theyāre pretty good at reading the memos too which most people miss. I dash a little oregano, salt and garlic powder and go to town. I sometimes hit it in the toaster oven to crisp it a little and if Iāve been good at the gym I dip it into their garlic butter that you can add. If Iāve been a lazy bum ... I dip it into pizza sauce only and remind myself that cookies are for closers!
In conclusion, my second wife is amazing and Iām...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this establishment today, my husband and I ordered 50 something dollars worth or food ( it was our first time). Iām not sure if itās Snellville or something else but I. General the restaurants in this area are mediocre or just not up to my standards. The staff is pretty friendly, but the cashier wiped her nose while taking our order and the cooks constantly touch their hair⦠we still stayed because I figure they would wash their hands prior to cooking. The food didnāt take too long and the menu is decent, although the prices are steep. My husband has the Philly pizza taste like bread no taste whatās so ever. The hamburger pizza didnāt taste like anything either and the cheese was weird, like itās not cooked all the way. They wings are good. The drinks were flat. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza the waiter brought me a personal pan and tried to convince me to take it. I didnāt cause I paid for a small. He was nice and brought the small it looked good, taste was average, similar to a frozen baked pizza. The good is the staff is nice. The bad flat sodas, bland...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's not a very good visit. I ordered a calzone with ricotta, chicken, mushrooms, and spinach. I asked for double Ricotta, and the dark-haired kid ringing me up said ok. They brought the other people in my parties out a good 10 min before my food. When I got it, it only had tiny pieces of chicken, spinach, and mozzarella and it was a Stromboli not a Calzone. I went to the front, and apparently, they don't have Ricotta. WHY DIDN'T HE TELL ME THAT. I asked for the manager because all the kids working there are clueless. He repeated they didn't ever have Ricotta ( which is an ingredient in Calzones ALWAYS), so he asked if I wanted something else, so I decided on a Greek salad.. BIG MISTAKE there were more black olives on it than anything else, and they have me Ceasar dressing. Everything was dry and old on the salad like they made it days ago. The Pepperchini were so dry and stale. WE WON'T BE BACK AND I SUGGEST YOU SAVE YOUR MONEY AND...
