I will say that out of all the Chick-fil-A establishments that I have patronized, I have never felt more insulted and unappreciated ( as a customer) than here. I had an issue twice with the consistency of the milkshake & frosty. I returned to the drive thru ( shake #1) and explained this situation ( a child’s shake ). THe manager in drive thru said she would replace the shake as a curteousy because it was a child’s complaint. ( as is Chick-fil-A doesn’t accommodate guest all the time for issues pertaining to food). She printed me out a receipt ( that said $0) and I proceeded to The pick up window. A crew leader came rushing to the window and informed me that, they would not be replacing my shake ( because my son had finished 1/3 of it). I drove off very offended by both the mannerism & the decision to override her manager. I visited this establishment several more times & again, I experienced the same consistency issue with the frosty (#2). I called in and spoke with a different crew leader, who informed me that this issue DOES in fact occur and to ask for an extra thick frosty each time I order. She took my name and agreed to replace this drink, when I return. I came through this drive thru a day or so later and the same crew leader ( that denied me the shake)was taking my order. I reminded her of the situation that took place that day with her and she remembered me very well). She told me that her manager called in on her headset and told her NOT to replace my drink😱. What kind of games are we playing here? This is Chick-fil-A not mean girls club! I expressed how unprofessional that was and she agreed AT THAT TIME to replace the shake. So, I accepted the shake replacement & had not picked up the frosty replacement. Note: the shake was for my son and frosty was mine. And it happened on two separate occasions. Now, I returned 3 days later to this location as this is not my favorite Chick-fil-A. And I asked for the frosty replacement per the promise of the latter crew leader. I was told by ( shake lady) that I have come in too many times trying to get free stuff & that I should find a different Chick-fil-A to go to. Now I explained the Situation and produced receipts referrencing that the two incidences were separate. She again told me to patronize another Chick-fil-A as she was not going to honor this replacement. So, I wil not give my money to any establishment that does not want nor respect my business. I visit Chick-fil-A establishments, sometimes twice a day at $24-$40 each transaction. I called in and spoke to a random employee and asked about the replacement/ Satisfaction policy. He stated that they replace food all they time at the customer’s request, sometimes not even asking for their name or receipt, in which both was done to me & I...
Read moreTonight, I had the worst Chick-fil-A experience in the 20 years I’ve been patronizing this location. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here, spent multiple family dinners/nights. Our children who are now in college used to play on the outdoor playground they had long before this place was renovated and this? I took my young daughter out for a last minute treat at 8:30ish tonight. I ordered a frosted lemonade and a cookie. What occurred upon retrieving my order was nothing short of shocking given the high standards that Chick-fil-A upholds.
I made a simple request. May I have whipped cream on my frosted lemonade? The employee told me they can’t put whip cream on those. I said, “You can’t? I have gotten it on these before.” He asked the manager (Eden) who was standing next to him whether they put whip cream on them and without looking at me, the manager stoically replied, “No.” He turned to me and said “no, we haven’t done that.” I asked if they could. He then asked Eden if they could. She reluctantly took my drink out of his hand and quickly sprayed whip cream into it, mumbling to herself, and still without looking at me. Another employee saw Eden’s reluctance and murmuring and started chuckling at her unwarranted frustration as it happened and asked Eden, “What is it? What?” Eden then quickly handed my drink back to the employee to give to me…still without looking at me. At the time, I had no clue she was a manager.
Needless to say, this is NOT the Chick-fil-A customer service profile that makes them so great and trustworthy. But it got worse!
I asked the employee who the manager was and he pointed to Eden. I was shocked. I asked to speak with her. She stepped outside and for the first time looked at me. I told her that I was a customer of nearly 20 years. I expressed that she was dismissive. Her reply was a tight-lipped, “Okay.” I told her she was rude and that this was by far the worst thing experience I’ve ever encountered at Chick-fil-A. She delivered another tight-lipped, “Okay.” And I ended with, “And the worst part is, you don’t care.” She followed it up with another, “Okay.” She walked back inside unapologetically. She did NOT care. And she’s a manager?! Not to mention the Christian values they uphold and is this not the holiday season or “good cheer”?
This speaks volumes about the owner, if this is her/his choice of manager. All this over two squirts of whipped cream?
20 years, thousands of dollars, hundreds of family dinners later, this is what I get? We will never purchase anything from here again! One thing I know… Eden...
Read moreI have been at chick-fil-a on the regular and have never been treated with such disregard as I was today at 2:12 pm here at the chick fil-a at 78. I’m am highly disappointed. After back to school shopping with my my 3 children I planned a fun lunch here. What I encountered was not a pleasure. I stood at the counter with my three children I waited to be greeted by an employee to take my order. Minutes passed and employees bustled by, but no one said “we will be with you in a moment.” One employee even came to the register didn’t acknowledge me and clocked in. Sydney finally arrived and she was still being asked questions by fellow outside employees coming in. When she finally was ready to take my order I spoke clearly and slowly and had to repeat myself more than once. I was rudely inturrupted by another employee after the second item I was ordering and her attention was taken away again. I am shocked at the disrespect of the front end employees to me as a customer. After finally completing my order I was told my sauces would arrive on my tray and they did not. When my food was delivered there weren’t any sauces and the employee delivering asked me again what the sauces were. I directed him to the employee that took the order and he still came back because she didn’t remember. Upon sitting down to eat my now cold food I decided to review my receipt and found the order was rung up wrong. I asked at this point to talk to a manager. The manager on duty Sydney Frazier was very calm and listened to the situation as I tried to clearly explain what happened. She empathized saying she understood how frustrating it must have been and was sorry I felt that way. She asked what she could do to make the situation right and I asked she correct the mistake on the receipt. She offered to refund the order and get the missing kids toy. Then the manager said “not to offer up an excuse but you came at a bad time for us.” It is 2:12 pm. I didn’t know this chick-til-a had a good time or bad time for me to bring my children out for a fun day of school shopping and a fun...
