Our pup (65+ lb. Pit Lab Mix) has been visiting Hounds Town for a few months now and has stayed for daycare, boarding, and bath time. She loves it!!! She practically drags me to the door when we arrive!
I love that the staff really knows her. They greet her by name, they know who her friends are and they update me on her progress as she has moved from a wall flower to being playful in her room.
I truly feel like the staff cares about her wellbeing and thats huge for us!
The environment is very clean, I always see the staff cleaning in the evenings which I really appreciate! They also wipe our pup down before pick up! She still smells a little, which is to be expected, but she doesnt need tossed in the bathtub as soon as we get home like with other daycares we've visited.
Lastly, I think the pricing is great! Cheaper or comparable price to other daycares in the area but the service and quality of care really...
Read moreMy dog, Freya, is a rescue that we adopted at the end of February 2025. She had a lot of anxiety around other dogs, and was having issues with the dogs in our neighborhood. We talked with our vet, and they recommended that Freya needed help socializing and adjusting from the survivor-mentality she had while living on the streets for most of her life. We researched and chose Houndstown USA because they care a lot for their pups, and actively try to promote wellness. I joke about it being group therapy for Freya, but in reality going once a week to Houndstown has done wonders for her ability to socialize with other dogs. Four and a half months later, she's more confident in our neighborhood walks, has started making friends around the block, and is able to manage her separation anxiety more readily. Group therapy is working for Freya! Many thanks to the people at Houndstown USA for the care and attention they...
Read moreHounds Town Stone Mountain is THE BEST place around for your fur baby. We have been to another area boarding business which led to major disappointment, and a sick and traumatized dog. I searched for a new place to board and care for our sweet dog, and Hounds Town was the answer. The owner, Michelle, told me all about the company prior to our first stay and answered all of my questions. Hounds Town has always impressed us. We have a very nervous fur baby, and they slowly acclimated her into their environment. They have always been honest about her demeanor, which began as petrified. But now, our fur baby loves Hounds Town so much that she jumps out of our car and leads me to the door. She's so happy when we pick her up. I am just so relieved that I have found such a caring place for her. Try Hounds Town out - you and your fur baby will be...
