Number first of all, it was my first visit and the pictures on Google was very inviting. The atmosphere was very pleasant but the cashier's customer service was very complacent. I get it, you do this every day, no need to smile or greet. Any who, we were seated in a booth and given our utensils. I went straight for the soup. I wanted won ton soup which they did not have so I settled for egg drop. But, after stirring the ladle twice, I saw a plastic spoon inside. I tapped the attendant who was standing right behind me and told her however, she looked at me and kept cleaning her area. Figuring she didn't understand, I tapped her again and tried to lift up the spoon to show her but if fell back inside the soup and she walked away. So I decided to get the Miso soup instead. I stirred it twice as I previously did and after not seeing a spoon, I got a cup. The attended return, and for the third time I told but this time showed her and she aggressively said, "I know". (Wow) She then turned and walked away again. I wanted to leave but, seeing my husband already had his plate and was eating I just left the soup alone and went to the meats/vegetables. I noticed the attended had returned again with a plastic tray. I really thought she would removed the entire pan of soup but instead, she use the ladle and fished out the spoon putting it on the tray. I don't know who's mouth may have been on that spoon before it ended up in the soup but this was by far the nastiest and unsanitary thing I had ever seen. The meats and vegetable wasn't anything special and despite the fact I saw steam coming from the pan that held them, the food was relatively warm. I sat down to observe my environment and noticed a sign inside our booth that stated, "any wasting of food would result in an additional $10 "per person" charge." I only had one plate but after my husband's 3rd plate, he was done. The only great thing about this restaurant was the innovative robot that collected our dirty dishes. I tried to give it a tip but it...
Read moreYes! Yes! Yes! Finally, a restaurant that serves fresh, high quality food in this area.
My husband and I live less than 2 miles away from this restaurant. One day, we passed it, and took note. The next day, we passed it again, and decided to go inside, to see if they offered to go plates. They did!
When we went inside, and we were immediately greeted. The restaurant was immaculately clean, organized, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing.
Now, this is not like your typical buffet. This buffet offers quality food. There is not a million food items, just sitting there getting dried out, looking all parched.
This restaurant offers around 30 delicious food items. I'm talking sushi, noodles, soup, salad, fruit, ice cream, crabs (fried,) fried shrimp, fried calamari, fried and baked fish, fried and steamed rice, fried chicken, fruits, crab rangoon, etc.
When I tell you, that the food is seasoned to perfection.......it's seasoned to perfection. There is no bland noodles here. No bland chicken or fried shrimp either.
There is a self serve for your drinks, which is an absolute plus. No sitting there, getting irritated about getting parched like a raisin, because the waitress is doing something else. How do I know this? Because I've been there three times, since we went there for the take out (6 days ago.) Our tables were always clean. No build up of plates on the table. They make the customer first, in this restaurant .
They even have a robot that comes to your table, to collect your used plates.
The owner is such a people person. Always smiling, communicating with his customers, asking how he can improve. Sir, you have mastered your craft. No improvement necessary.
The bathroom is sparkling clean too.
The price for food is more than reasonable.
I absolutely recommend this restaurant. Don't take your time thinking about trying this...
Read moreAvoid scam!! First they make you pay before seating and I can understand due to dine &dash but ok. I came at 237pm and paid I guess the lunch price. I asked if they had blue crab she yes around dinner. I said ok should I wait outside until dinner at 330p. She said no just go ahead and eat. I had one plate and waited. Them nasty dry miniature unseasoned brittle blue crab(shell mostly) came out. I had 3 went and try to eat them not really edible. So I just continue eating other items. I finished and the guy said your total is 5 dollars and some change. I said for what? He said for dinner prices. I said you mean to tell me you charging me for the 33 minutes into dinner? He said yeah for the blue crab you like lol smh. I said so are you going to go to every table and ask for 5 dollars who came before dinner. He said no because you said you like blue crab and it's a dinner item. I said I also asked her could I just purchase it by itself and she said no. Also where is the signage stating this rule. No answer. I said I will pay because I dont want anything free it's just seems pretty sketchy that you are choosing who to charge...
