The employees here seem poorly trained. They work very slowly and they make bad decisions. I went in to this location on April 29th, stood in line for at least five minutes, while they slowly helped the one man in front of me. Then I waited it seemed another two minutes, watching four people walk around the line aimlessly, instead of starting my bowl order. Then a lady lays out four tortillas to make four burritos, instead of taking 20 seconds to help me first. I was the only person in line. They could have helped me first and then started the more time-consuming burrito orders. Then another lady told me it’s going to be a while until the other lady makes those burritos. I told her all I wanted was a bowl, but they still wouldn’t help me until the burrito order was finished. Somebody could’ve taken 10 or 20 seconds to get my bowl started and send it down the line. I told them, “let’s just forget about it” and walked out. Management needs to get somebody in there and retrain all the employees on the line. What I have seen repeatedly at your other locations, is one person is stationed in front of the beans, rice and meat, getting the order started. Then they slide the order down to the next person, who puts the toppings on the order. Then, he or she slides the order down to the cashier. This wasn’t happening at all, here. One person starts the order (slowly), then moved down the line and puts the toppings on (slowly), and then gives it (I think) to the cashier. In this case, he might’ve ran the cash register also, I’m not sure, but he never came back to the beginning of the line! The other three employees were standing around, doing basically nothing. I wanted to say, “can somebody get my order started?,“ but I didn’t. My order could’ve gotten started well before the burrito lady came along. Customer service is #1. Lose it and you’ll be out of business before you know it. I was excited about this location opening up, but it’s the worst at helping customers, by far. I am very disappointed and won’t be back...
Read moreI really don’t like having to do reviews but enough is enough! This location is one of the worst Chipotles that I’ve been to. I’ve come to this location multiple times and it’s always the same outcome. For today, let’s start with them not opening the doors on time as advertised. I sat in my car watching multiple people try to wave down the workers behind the counter to open the doors, to which one customer literally had to drive to the to go window to get help. Then immediately upon getting into the restaurant after they finally unlocked the doors, it’s early in the morning and the workers are already moving as if they have already worked a whole day’s shift. They had workers already taking food breaks as soon as the doors opened and moving like they had molasses. Then, I literally had to beg the worker to give me my half portion of meat because she tried to give me less than a scoop of steak. Mind you, steak is already extra so I expect what I pay for! Then, they never have any vinaigrette! Every time I come to this location, they tell me that they don’t have any made for the day when they just opened the doors and should be prepped to serve! I literally had to stop the girl mid order preparation to go to another Chipotle and she didn’t even try to make it right. She just watched me as the customer walk out of the store. HORRIBLE! Get people who actually want to do their jobs and stop hiring laziness! Never coming back to this...
Read moreThe service and quality of food has consistently gone WAY downhill at this location. We live close and eat here 1-2 times per week. Example of staff - last week, with my order was a kid's build your own with 2 small tortillas. The guy told me they were out of small tortillas. I asked if he could put one large tortilla in the box instead. He looked confused and said, "I can't do that." I said, that I will just pay for a large tortilla on the side, then. He was even more confused and still said he couldn't do that. I told him I would PAY for it. He literally could not process what I was asking. A couple weeks before, I had 2 kids build your own meals in my order and the girl told me they were out of small kids tortilla bags. I see the rack full of large bags. I asked if she could just do one big bag instead. She said they couldn't give me a big bag with the kids meals. I said, you don't have any small bags you can fill? She seemed very confused, turned around, and proceeded to grab a big bag of tortillas and dump them into 2 small bags, throwing the rest of the tortillas in the big bag in the trash. I am baffled as to how the staff at this location could possibly be so consistently incompetent. We ate at the Canton location yesterday and were reminded of what Chipotle is supposed to be like - great service and amazing food - which is definitely lacking at the Towne...
