I will start by saying this, I've been a fast food worker( front and back of house), waitress, delivery driver, line cook, barista, prep chef & bartender. So I get when things go wrong. I get bad nights but this was insane. It was Friday night. They were slammed in and out. They should have known that was going to happen. They just opened and people love them. We pulled into the drive thru and it looked pretty heavy. Customers were cutting the line and jumping into the second drive thru blocking any chance of escape if you weren't in the mood to wait, so we were stuck regardless. 45 minutes in they came and shutdown the second drive thru. 1 hour later we had not even placed our order. 1:15 order finally placed & we thought they were making some head way inside because it looked like it slowed down inside. Nope. 2 hours in we finally make it to the window to pay, cashier with back to the window on her phone. Other employees too. No one helping the back of the house, just a bunch if people standing around waiting for food looking disgruntled. Which with the night they were having, I get it but no one leading in there or getting work done. Total shutdown, total breakdown in service. As staff was delivering food to cars you could visibly see frustration & hear it in their voices and conversation to each other. 2 hrs 30min into service we finally get our food. Shakes missing, so we kindly asked for them & checked the rest if our order after waiting so long & knowing the staff must be exhausted after dealing with all the angry customers. We thought we had everything but when we got home we were missing the chicken tenders. So super disappointing after waiting so long. In their defense we were here a week ago and the wait was 40 minutes total from pulling in to leaving with our order. Good experience then but were probably just going to drive to Kennesaw next time we want Culver's if the line is long...
Read moreI am from the Midwest and was excited this place was opening only a mile from my apartment. Sadly, after all this time they have yet to figure their stuff out. The staff are nice and polite (hence the 2 stars), but their systems are slow and inefficient. I wouldn't normally submit a review like this but the Culver's website for customer feedback isn't working.
I went through the drive-thru to get a burger and a concrete mixer. I was the first car in the wait line, and the burger came out as I was driving around. Great. But I ordered at 5:55pm, and by 6:20pm I still hadn't got my custard. After the first 10 minutes, the delivery folks came out and checked on my order. No problem. But then I watched as every single car behind me was driving away with their mixers in hand. As the line cleared out, the guy came to check again, and I said don't bother, and went inside for a refund at 6:28pm (yeah I was clocking it). I went inside, and it was packed. The manager came up as soon as I asked and I requested a refund. I explained what happened, and he apologized. As I said, the staff were very nice and helpful. Yes I was upset, but I know when it gets busy things break down. The manager said he was going to "knock some heads." I said maybe not that, but figure out where the breakdown happened. He wound up refunding my burger, not not the custard, so I got two extra bucks. And they gave me the mixer.
Then I got home. While I appreciated the mixer, it wasn't what I ordered, and the burger was raw (not medium) in the middle though the edges were cooked.
I hope this place can succeed, but I have yet to go to this location where there isn't some issue--either food or time. They need a consultant or something to come...
Read moreI accidentally placed two online carryout orders for the wrong Woodstock Culver's, 11799 Highway 92 instead of 6778 Hickory Flat Highway. A few minutes after I placed the orders I arrived at 6778 and called 11799. I asked to cancel my order and he said he could cancel it but not refund it, which made no sense to me. I explained I was at the other Woodstock Culver's and he said he would not refund me. I said thank you and hung up. I spoke to the manager at the 6778 and she said if I placed an order there I could call the other Culver's and they would refund me. So I called back and the manager again said he would not refund me. I put it on speaker phone, the manager asked if she could speak to the other manager, I said yes, and she asked him why he wouldn't refund me. They got into an argument, she handed me my phone back and said to hang up on him, which I did. I placed an order at her register. While I was waiting for my food, I called again and asked to speak with a manager. The man who answered said he is the manager. I asked for his name and he hung up on me. Like Jaylen Hunt wrote in his review, the 11799 manager was completely unprofessional.
The 6778 Hickory Flat Highway location was great. Friendly staff, great food, and a clean facility. Like Tiffany Spencer wrote in her review, I also highly recommend coming here instead of the awful 11799 Highway 92 restaurant.
I called Culver’s corporate today, they gave me a refund right away, and he said I’m far from the only one this happens to. As I was told in store, their policy is if the customer accidentally places an order that went to the wrong restaurant they will give a refund. I suggest that the 11799 Highway 92 manager learn the...
