This has to be the worst Dunkin Donuts that I have ever visited! I've gone to this location numerous times over the past few years and they are always out of every different type of bagel and donuts except plain plain ones. If they do have what I want, the staff screws up the very simple order I place EVERY single time. It's really not hard -
Ham and yellow cheddar (low fat cheddar as they call it) on a plain bagel, no egg.
Is that really too much to ask for? I always having to go back in because they put either white cheese, a croissant, or egg on the sandwich. I'm promise I'm not joking, this happens every single time.
Today was the last straw. My girlfriend and I went in and ordered the above, but on a poppy seed bagel. We were informed that they were out of poppy seed bagels (surprise!). So we changed it on a plain bagel along with a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel, and finally two donuts. So four total items.
Not only did the person at the register require help inputting the order, it took almost five mins from start to finish for us to be rung up.
We paid, got our donuts, and waited for the rest. During our wait, we got to listen to the mid twenties something manager berate one of the employees for the manor in which he entered an earlier order into their system. It's always nice listening to someone scream at an employee right out in front of all the customers.
Two or three minutes later we are told they only have one plain bagel left (I really shouldn't have been shocked). At this point we had had it and requested a refund. The manager never apologized, proceeded to acted very short with my girlfriend and was just plain rude acting like he was better than everyone else.
So if you want to visit a restaurant that's run by what appears to be high school dropouts that can't even keep a tiny variety of donuts or bagels in stock, then this is the place for you. If not, then I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere. I for one will never spend another dime in...
Read moreBeing from New England (New England runs on Dunkin 😉) I just love my morning DD! Normally, I stop at a DD near my house but this morning I was running late so stopped to this DD at 6020 Atlanta Hwy, Alpharetta, GA 30004. In full disclosure, I have stopped here in the evening several times and never had any issues, save some very cold and burnt bacon last week. However, this morning I placed the same order I always place in the morning at DD (1 Lg hot coffee, 2 egg and cheese wraps, snacking’ bacon, and 1 chocolate glazed munchkin/donut hole.) The young man over the intercom insisted he could not sell me a donut hole and I would need to purchase at least 5. I told him I only wanted 1 and not 5 and asked him to convene with his manager about how to accommodate this request. The manager was waiting for me at the window and he conveyed to me what a big favor it was to me that he was doing, and that because he couldn’t sell just one that he was going to give me the one out of the goodness of his heart, but “just this one time,” so as to make it clear to me that I should not make this request again. His tone was patronizing. I thanked him but also shared that there could have been a less patronizing and appropriate way to accommodate my request (I didn’t say this but…sell me a tiny donut. The system can be overrided by a manager easily to allow for such things.) He then stepped away from the window, continuing to look at me, talking out of the side of his mouth to a couple young employees who were also staring at me snickering. The gentleman, when asked if he was the owner said no and, identified himself as the manager. The young lady who rang up my card was genuinely a very courteous person. I have never had so much trouble trying to purchase...
Read moreI was on my way to work at a new job I had started and was using my app. I get Dukin coffee every single day without fail. Instead of stopping at my usual Dunkin closer to home, I went by this right down from my new office. My app showed it was this closest one to me. I placed my order through the app and it went to the wrong one. The woman was very rude to me, and said I would have to re-order and that she had no idea how to cancel and get my money back for the one already I paid for. When I arrived at the window she all but thew my coffee at me, turned and walked away. The rudest I have EVER been treated by any Dunkin staff in all the years I have been going. Called the one I actually place the order with, and the manager was super nice, cancelled the order and said if I could come by that he would surely honor the order for my coffee. Now, that's service. I will never visit this this...
