Dunkin' — Restaurant in Georgia

Just placed an order through the app. When I arrived, there were no other cars in the drive-thru or at the window, so I went straight to the window (which is what the app always says you can do). I sit at the window for 3 minutes. Five different staff members walk by, stare at me, and then keep walking. The girl with the drive-thru headset stands away from the window, just standing there, refusing to acknowledge me. Finally, a staff member comes up and angrily asks me "Can I help you?!" At this time, the girl with the drive-thru headset who has ignored me the entire time blurts out "She never gave me her name!" You never asked or acknowledged me. I then explained I placed an order on the app and provided my name. The woman collects my items and then scolds me for not providing my name at the intercom and says they are very busy. I point to the ZERO cars in the drive-thru. Nope, she insists they are quite busy that, despite the app saying otherwise, I have to announce that I have arrived at the intercom. Fair enough, but no, you are not busy; you are just rude and don't understand customer service. For five staff to walk by doing nothing, not for one of them to ever even come to the window and ask POLITELY "Can I help you?" That's called rude customer service. This Dunkin’ and I have a love-hate relationship. If I’m in the doghouse in the morning, their coffee with cream and a shot of vanilla to take to my wife at her job gets me right out. My youngest loves their chocolate munchkins.

But man...they screw up my order almost every time. I only drink unsweetened tea and am deliberate when I say unsweetened. I get sweet tea half the time. I also order items regularly with no cheese. Sometimes I get no egg instead...like today. Sometimes, like last week, I get no bacon. Sometimes they give me sausage instead of turkey. It’s mind blowing how many different ways my order gets messed up. Last, I love icing filled donuts and order them every few months. And every few months when I order that donut from this Dunkin’, it’s dry and stale and I remember why I don’t order them.

If it wasn’t for my wife and youngest loving this joint and having items that almost can’t be screwed up, I wouldn’t go.

Be prepared to order an egg bagel with cream cheese and get a bagel with...

I just want to praise this location! I hate to admit publicly that I am a regular Dunkin’ Donuts visitor, but I now only go to one location and it’s this location here off of Bethelview in Cumming Georgia. The customer service is better than anywhere I’ve ever been where management, and employees alike seem to genuinely care about their customers and make it a point to go over and above to provide quality customer service! I also wanna give a special shout out to one employee that seems to have been there for a long time and always makes it a point to come to the window just to say hello, Sabitra, thank you for all you do! In addition, the food is always hot, prepared, accurately, and it’s always given to me by somebody with a smile on their face!
