It was a unpleasant experience out of all the visits I had. I love the dozen deal with the shmear, so I asked the cashier if they still have a deal on Monday. She replied yes and offered me to join the reward. But since I did not have my cell phone with me, I asked if there is a way for her to create the reward account for me but she said no. So I figure in a busy morning, I shouldn't hold the line and responded that I will pay for the order and perhaps bring the receipt to credit the reward after I sign up for a account, well, I got rejected on that as well, she said basically if I paid for the order, I can't go back and add the reward, which was kind of understandable. So I decided to go ahead and finish the transaction and sign -up later at home. When I got home, I saw the receipt and I was charged with the regular price on the dozen. Called to find out that I have to join the reward program to receive the deal....... wish the cashier would have explain that to me in the first place, feel like she just wanted to get rid of me and move on to the next...
Read moreI went to einsteins this morning to get a bagel. I ordered the apple cinnamon bagel with strawberry smear n a vanilla cold brew. There were three young men working. The service was so slow and unprofessional. The opposite of the amazing service at the tucker location. I've been to this Duluth location before and it was the same three workers with the same kind of subpar service. It took forever to get my food and even longer for an ice coffee ( the ice coffee tastes just like sryup, i think he just didn't care about making it, highly disappointed) that when I'm guessing three young lady( who was amazing) came out took him 2 seconds to make. I'm not sure why the cashier keeps taking orders and not attending to the people who have been waiting 15 or more minutes. Read moreI used to enjoy stopping in here regularly but it seems with the current staff that customer service has really gone downhill. I was practically ignored waiting to order from the counter while the employees were having social time.
Also, I don't think the ordering process is clear with everyone behind the counter. It used to be that you order from the bagel display then pay at the register, which those in front of me in the line were doing. After waiting I was told I need to order at the register first, requiring guests to move back and forth in a crowded space. There is no flow or consistency in the ordering process anymore.
Lastly, the interior is just dirty all around. I especially noticed lots of yellowing on the ceiling and trash on the floor and around the seating areas and coffee bar. Like I said, it's really gone downhill in...
