I'm posting this review because I didn't like the way they act the day we tried to have a nice dinner and have a great moment, we plan to try also their food but it was not possible, I know many of you will criticize me for it but there is no sense, we, a group of like 10 ppl went to this place, which looked not busy and not even full so we got into their place and a sign that said we must wait to be seat, well we wait around 10 min. Wondering that they may looking a table to accommodate our party, but un the meant time a customer arrived then she was seat as soon as the waitress saw her, so we asked her why we didn't got a table yet then she said that there was no table available but in the same time she said you guys must use mask to have service, so one of my friends told her it was not necessary because we were ready for dinner but she started to argue with him, he was getting mad because the waiting time she made us wait and when we asked her she told us in different words that because some of us were not using mask she didnt got a table for us, thats what she meant by saying there was not table available yet, so at the end we decided to move on to a different place and spent our money to other place where we had a great meal, great atmosphere and excellent customer service, by the way, in this other place, they didn't said anything because some of us didn't wear a mask, most places don't ask for it but they recommended, we didn't had the chance to taste their food but because that we are not going back at all, if she would have different attitude we may considerd but because the rude way she acted we decide to leave . UPDATE TO THE RESPONSE we have no problems by using a mask, again, the main problem is the your staff attitude, if she talked us in different way we would understand and we would consider to put the mask on while waiting , it doesn't matter how many signs you have in the door, what it matter is the way you conduct to your customers, I been 20 years in the industry of the restaurant and customer service so I know how I should treat customers, as they are the most important for...
Read moreI only come here occasionally for a little snack. It’s close to my job. And usually I will ask coworkers if they want anything since There’s no option to order online. And 9/10 atleast 3 other people put in an order as well.
The last 3 times I’ve been there; I been passed around to a different server because I don’t speak Spanish… fine. My order is wrong and the server just has an all around nasty attitude. I decided to only add my drink to the 2nd order and I left off the rest of my items off. I’ll find somewhere else to eat! Today I was shorted a drink; asked the young lady about the drink and she said, ‘you only ordered one… $5.35’ I said I just put in 2 order with you; she rolled her eyes looked and down at her handheld device and said there’s only 1. I asked for my 2nd receipt multiple times and she ignored me. She then magically finds the correct ticket where I did in fact pay for what I’m asking for. Disappeared for a few minutes and brought the drink back. I again asked for my 2nd receipt and this time she walked over to the register looked at a few receipts laying around and then came back and tossed it on the counter and walked off- never even stopped her steps. I had to REACH behind the counter over the display case to get said receipt. The attitude of the staff needs an adjustment. But from the reviews the owner sees no wrong with their actions. Most recent visit this week was ahhhh ok generally because of food and cleanliness of place was great but no so with service and forced tip of 20% for a party of 4 which they consider a large party..
20% tip equaled to nearly $15.00 for a ticket subtotal of $74.50… I must say server greeted us friendly took our drink order promptly and very polite throughout time we where there.. Later checked in on us if needed anything which we didn’t.. Total time server spent taking our order and checking in on us 1-2 times was around 2-3 minutes max to be force to pay $15 tip. A party of 4 is not considered a large party, typical large parties are 6, 8+, hmmm ok I give it minimum 5 but 4 and 20% force tip on top of high food prices. I believe this tipping thing is getting out of hand. Starbucks asks for tip for service they should provide to customers regardless since we are purchasing their products, Panda Express asks for donations, McDonald’s ask for donations, even the car wash guy who takes your card and runs it through machine asks for tip.. geesh. If we just start not holding back it will cause places to start lowering prices because a 20% tip can be the tipping point of not coming back especially for a place that considers a party of 4 to be large and force 20% tip from patrons…at least this is IMO not looking forward to...
