BUGS IN THE FOOD Today I went in for the first time to try out this “ new restaurant”. Ordered my food to go but decided to sit and eat inside. Half way through eating my daughter found what looked like an eyelash in her food. Jokingly... I told her it looked like a roach leg. She laughed it off and started to look at her food to make sure nothing else was in her food. That’s when she notice a little BUG! Same little legs that she found seconds earlier on her shrimp. Not wanting to cause a scene I took it to the cashier who took the food in the back to the “cook”. While she went in the back I started to look through my food... and of course I found SEVERAL of the same BUGS in my food! The cashier came out and told me the cook said “it’s seasoning”. I said but it’s in my food too! At this point other customers now started noticing the BUGS in their food. The family at the table next to ours confirmed they found the same BUGS in their food. At this point all I wanted was an apology and my money back. The Asian lady in the back obviously annoyed yelled through the lil window “He told you it’s seasoning!” while I was showing the cashier all the BUGS in my food. The cashier even put the bug on a piece of paper in an attempt to show the cook that it really was BUGS. The cook became angry and started to talk in his language to the Asian lady through the window. Another customer came up to show the cook that he thad the same BUGS in his food. The cook went in the back to bring out his BUG infested seasoning to prove it’s the seasoning. Now I don’t know if that’s a part of their seasoning but I personally don’t eat BUGS. He did allow the cashier to refund me my money but made sure to tell me I must not come back. I assured him that he won’t have to worry about that. Because who’ll be coming back is ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH! The food did taste good. BUT the cooks attitude and them BUGS won’t ever see me again! CHECK...

I placed an order (over the phone)for 3 full shrimp po boy combos. My husband went to pick it up. We're sitting at the table and i ask my son where is the other half of his sandwich in which he replied this is all that i have. I call back and speak to the owner and tell him what happened. He immediately takes a defensive stance, doesn't apologize for the inconvenience and states "I'm going to look at the tap and if that is the case I'll make you another fulls. He calls back the next afternoon stating he reviewed the tap and they made 3 fulls(impossible unless my sons sandwich disappeared into thin air)mind you he isn't at the store as he told me they are closed today and i can come by tomorrow to view the tape I asked can i COME NOW to view the tape.. So unprofessional and lack of customer service skills. I wouldn't advise you to go here unless you don't mind paying for other than what you order. He continues to prove the stereotype of how unprofessional and how they try to get over on ppl outside of...

Food was horrible. Not a real Louisiana boil. I was so upset waisted my and left hungry. Food was not hot at all. No steam came out when I opened my food wrapped in foil (usually served in a bag by other places and served fresh. My snow crabs and shrimp were not boiled in the seasoning I ordered at all. It was covered with dry seasoning. Looked like it was ready to be cooked NOT ate!! My gumbo was the worst. Literally no Louisiana flavor or spices. Tasted and looked like brown gravy and rice. Horrible, unauthentic food. They give you white potatoes and not the red. Also gives you broccoli with your boil which seemed weird and something I would want if I ordered Asian food. The place was clean with beer specials but the gumbo and boiled aren’t good to me at all. I should of went to the red crawfish as I started to but this place had some good reviews so I was let down. People must not be used to...

We ordered the sampler platter from Louisiana Shack and were enjoying a picnic at the park when my wife found a long brownish-black hair in our food under the fries and surprisingly in the coleslaw. Despite taking pictures, none of us have long hair. When I called the cashier, she recognized me and apologized, but was unsure about their policy. After consulting the manager, he insisted we bring the food back, but I explained I'm currently in Buford and won't return until tomorrow night. He was unhelpful and refused to accept a picture. It's disappointing to receive such treatment, especially since I'm a frequent customer. Even the cashier acknowledged the manager's rudeness and mentioned they don't wear hair nets. After further investigation, I see the health department report gave them a 76. I will not be a returning customer nor will I recommend them to anyone else anymore!

I loved the shrimp boil at Louisiana Shack when they first opened and faithfully patronized them. After taking a break from rich food, I decided to place an order at Louisiana Shack tonight and I only got four shrimp in my shrimp boil (here are the tails to prove it). I basically got a bowl of noodles, broccoli and garlic butter that was bland. I have to admit that I was shocked to receive my order in less than 5 minutes of placing it and to see an empty restaurant, but now I know why. I received leftover, half put together food. Disappointing. Time to find my new go-to shrimp boil restaurant.

I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place, especially since it was my second visit. The teens working the registers were incredibly kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food still lacked flavor. I found the sausage particularly off-putting due to its strange aftertaste. Overall, several aspects of the meal were disappointing. To top it off, I woke up the next morning with an upset stomach. I’d also suggest the restaurant consider installing diaper changing tables to help families dine more comfortably.
