Gary's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Georgia

First time trying this place on a Saturday. Was a little busy as it was the tail end of the lunch crowd. Greeted as we came to the counter, ordered a couple burger combos and a chicken sandwich combo. Be advised of a 3.99% charge if you're paying with a credit card or debit card. Was a little put off by that, as well as not having the option to run a debit card as a debit - was automatically run as a credit card.

Once we ordered, found a table and waited a somewhat short time for our ticket to be called. Our food was brought to the table. Order was correct and hot. The fried chicken was extremely moist, but the burgers were slightly dry. While the fries and onion rings were seasoned well, the fried okra, chicken, and burgers lacked in the seasoning. However, there was a decent amount of food for the price.

Most of the employees were pleasant enough, although one was a little snarky. I get they were still busy, but customer service should never fall short, no matter the circumstances.

The restaurant itself is a little older and was a little on the messy side with dirty tables and basic condiment containers needing to be cleaned better.

After years of spending money, It was the last this morning. I took back my three breakfast platters and got a refund for the order because, as usual it wasn't right. I've contacted Gary several times regarding the same issues each time and nothing's changed. It's sad too. That's about $1200 a month in revenue gone between myself and my husband and his work crew . I started going to the North Augusta location and after the third visit, they don't even ask what I want. They just give me my total and I pay and I get my corrected order. Why can't Christy do that at the Martinez location? She seems to like playing dumb and I've talked to two other couples who go there about the same time I do and we all have the same problem with her. She likes to play dumb and she's good at it probably the only thing she's good at. I get the same thing every time! She acts like it's the first time each and every time. My husband had to get the refund this morning because if I'd d have gone back in there, I would have...

Gary's Hamburgers...wow..lots of advertising..several locations. I ordered fresh biscuits several times to gift to my accounts on a cold winter morning. They are wonderful. The Evans store gave me great service. Never had the burger...saving that for a hungry day. Today was that day...Washington Rd location...My taste buds were ready...my expectation button on...Well...I will say total disappointment...total...I waited forever...a cheeseburger with one slice of tomato...something that might have been considered lettuce all for over $6!!! What?! But it would have been worth it if it were worth it...IT WAS NOT...greasy...bits of gristle...no salt or flavor... and after I waited in the drive thru forever..it was NOT even hot. OHHHH PULHEEZE...McDonalds, Burger King, someone tell Mr. Gary how to do it! Biscuits...
