Waited 20 mins and everyone that came in after us got their food. We were holding on pancakes. How long does it takes to make pancakes??? Very disappointed. Updated… We returned after I went to my appointment that I could not be late for, because the person that was with me had never been to gutbusters. Upon returning the cashier asked us had we been there earlier? We said yes, she said hold on. She went to the back kitchen area and returned with a gentleman ( the owner ) he asked me was I the person that gave him the 1 star review and came back. He said that it was weird for me to give him a bad review and return. I explained to him that I didn’t want to be late for my appointment I was headed too. He still insisted in was weird of us to return. Now here’s where my update takes a horrible turn for the worst. I increased the star rating to 2 stars, because the food was delicious. THE BIG ISSUES WITH RESTAURANTS NOW DAYS IS BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! People treat themselves when deciding to eat out. Quality and customer service goes hand in hand! Read moreI have been to all of the locations, & this one is my least favorite. The service here is poor and the young ladies at the registers attitudes are not friendly. I asked for a separate container for my French toast b/c they packed them on top of my grits, which with a 30 minute drive to my destination that would make them soggy which I didn’t think I had to explain. A cashier told me “we do charge for them. $0.50.” I have never been charged for an extra container at a gutbusters. I don’t usually ask for an extra one but when I have requested, I’ve never been charged at any other location. I explained to her I’m paying for an extra container when I just purchased 3 meals from your establishment and you only provided 1 container. By right, I should’ve received 3 containers to separate all of the meals. Then, after watching me thoroughly look through my order that was bagged to ensure everything was correct, my fiancé asked for plastic ware, and the young lady responded, “it’s in the bag.” As if she didn’t just see me inspect my order. Clearly, if it was plastic ware in the bag we would not have requested it. She was being trivial because of the container situation, and I did not appreciate that as a paying consumer. Read moreFood is great don't get me wrong. The service was horrible however. Ms. Corina was my cashier and it was the WORST customer service that I've received my numerous of times dining here. Let me not forget, this happened on MOTHERAS DAY SMH. I ordered 2 combos (#10 and #4) and they both came with the options of potatoes or grits and I wanted to do 1 order of grits and 1 order of potatoes. BEFORE it was even time to pay she stated that my order was already sent back (gave me grits on both) and that I couldn't change my order (however I didn't even pull my card out yet), I've worked in PLENTY of restaurants and with numerous of software companies, and I know how the process goes and once you pay the order THEN gets printed and sent to the kitchen. I asked her to change the order and she said she will talk to the lady at the window and then I Just confirmed with her that I would be getting 1 grits and 1 potatoes and she had the nerve to say "its a lot of orders by the time it get to the window the lady will forget" which was very much unprofessional especially on mothers days.
