Tokyo Express Teriyaki ＆ Sushi — Restaurant in Georgia

I love coming here I come here all the time since they’ve opened, Food so far is DELICIOUS, BUT I got what I usually get, I get the same thing every time most of the time and lately they aren’t consistent with pricing and how they prepare their food. I noticed a price increase so I asked to see the receipt and I was getting charged something called “Food increasing Tax” and a “Sales Tax” and I’ve never heard of a “Food Increasing Tax” so just beware……..

UPDATE: The business response was very sassy and rude. I DONT CARE to pay any price for good food but when I’m not the only customers that has said something about this I know it’s wrong, was simply pointing it out BE AN HONEST PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS , Not one who lies manipulates and gaslights their customers when they’re wrong .. You should work on your professionalism like I said I’ve been coming here since you opened and I’ve been going to GUTBUSTERS waaaaaaaay before your business came into this community I eat at gutbusters every Tuesday and have been paying the same 3 prices for the same 3 meals I receive. Instead of being rude and unreceptive, STOP STEALING EXTRA UNNECESSARY TAX WHEN YOU ALREADY TAXED ME ONCE AND STOP ARGUING OUTSIDE YOUR BUSINESS as a couple ITS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND EVERYONE THAT WORKS IN THE PLAZA SEES IT. I have no issue reporting your business to a tax audit....

Really happy this place opened up over here. I ,sometimes am in the mood for sushi and this will be my new go to when i get the craving.

The place is nice and clean. Good amount of seating to dine in. The young lady at the counter was inviting.

I ordered the Tokyo roll as well as the chicken teriyaki. Both are very tasty and fresh.

Food took a little less than 10 mins once i ordered. You get a yum yum sauce and a teriyaki sauce with your teriyaki order but can order more.

They are doing a $5.99 grand opening special on the chicken teriyaki but it’s normally $7.99 which is still very reasonable.

My sushi roll was $10.95 again reasonable.

They do have a food increasing cost to account for the fluctuation in food cost but it was only an extra .50 cent to my order so not bad and i understand the reasoning behind it.

Overall I’m very pleased and happy that we have this in our area now.

Will be back to try ramen, a salad...

Honestly the most impressively bland food I have ever eaten. I was very excited to try this place especially with all the good reviews. I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what but I couldn't even finish the Beef and Chicken Teriyaki. It also made me feel super bloated and gross afterwards. Also the food increasing charge feels really scummy, just add it to your food prices. Oh wait, they probably won't because this way they can decide how much they want to steal from people. Other reviews mentioned it used to be a .44 cent charge but now it's .75 cents, amazing how fast food prices increase in just a few months. Definitely won't be coming back and I'd like to warn others not to trust these extremely generous 5...
