This a hit and miss, sometimes the food taste old and at times it tastes fresh. I find it is best to go during busy times like on weekends that way the food is getting rotated. I went back March/2018, I will never step foot back in this place. My husband and I walked in, we were greeted by a waitress, she was wearing blue nitrile gloves, she seated us, asked what we would like to drink, we ordered water with lemon, when we got back to the table the water was sitting at the table. Few minutes goes by, I happen to see this same girl that greeted us, seat us and we assume she also made our glasses of water, she was outside washing the windows with nitrile gloves, ok that's fine she's wearing these gloves to protect her hands from the solution. She comes in to the restaurant wearing these said gloves putting food on the salad side of the buffet. When my husband and I approached the register I saw her drop the shrimp on the floor, she looked like she was going to pick it up but when she saw me looking at her she straightened up. Ok now she walks over to the register yes you guessed it with the same gloves that she had on while washing the exterior windows. So she wipes her gloved hands off with a napkin, takes the money from my husband, so now I have to say something. I asked, " how often do you change out your gloves?" She said, "maybe 30 min". I told her that it was unacceptable. She then tells me I was peeling shrimp, I was like Oh my god!!! So now the man owner of the restaurant approaches us (the waitress and I, my husband walked outside) he wanted to know what was wrong so I mentioned all the things that I seen while I there. Then I told him what she had told me. Now let's recap our waitress wearing the nitrile gloves apparently she was peeling shrimp, fixed our water, washing the exterior windows, stocking up food on the cold bar, taking money with the same pair of gloves. So that's right I will...
Read moreSigh. We came at 9. The door and website said closed at 10. It wasn’t ideal for a buffet, but we were find with the possibility that new food wasn’t going to be put out. And we fully expected to leave before ten anyway. When we arrived the hostess asked if we wanted to dine in or take it to go. We said dine in, knowing we would be quick. The hostess said okay, kind of looked annoyed and told us they closed at 9:30. My husband asked me if that was still okay, I was flustered and panicking so I said yeah but I know we should have said to-go instead. It felt rude of her to say and while the other employees were nice I felt like we were being hawked just counting the seconds til we left. We ate in 12 minutes promptly paid and left. Of course we paid full price which kind of feels like we were cheated after the fact. I have anxiety and that was just the worst possible situation for me. Partially our fault but the hours should be made clear. Change everything to say 9:30 if that’s when you’re going to close. We thought they closed at 10 and were prepared to leave by 10. I felt unwelcome and I know know if we will...
Read moreI was treated very rude by the lady on the phone. I ordered food to be picked up an had to stop an pick up food for my kids which ended up causing us to wait longer than anticipated. I get a call to see if I was still picking up which I explained kindly what was going on. I then preceded to call back an let them know it was taking a little more longer and if I could ask for more time an to make a fresh order. I was told I had wasted her time as if I predicted this happening. It’s one thing when you have been a loyal customer for years to being mistreated very poorly over not being there on time to pick up an order. So I’ll be taking my business else where an will be referring any others away from this place! So unprofessional. Yes I end up cancelling my order after her having an attitude with me. I didn’t deserve that especially having 4 kids waiting to get their other food they...
