Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Rincon

We went to Dairy queen on 11/08/2024 at 8:31pm. Ordered 6 pieces strips with gravy, 6 piece sauced and tossed with ranch and diet coke, and medium cookie dough blizzard. Firstly the speaker always seems to have issues but this time you have to say HELLO before they address you, ok fine, but perusal they STRUGGLE to understand what you are saying and have to repeat it multiple times. This is the 4th time I have gone and they had NO bananas, they also had no hot fudge, ok fine... We pull to the window we pay. They give the drink we wait about couple minuets then food comes. Looking in you see a group of 3 employees staring at ones phone. Lady taking orders ask what the drive through girl is waiting on. She says cookie dough blizzard... One of the phone staring ladies moves over to a phone propped where the food lamp is and proceeds to browse. Other ice cream orders are being made and set by register.. we wait. After a few more minuets the lady asks the other again what we are waiting for, she says cookie dough blizzard... again she yells we need it again other ice creams are made sitting. Finally after almost 10 minuets the cookie dough blizzard comes out and we leave. I get having down time, but when there is an active line building and your employees aren't helping and just looking at their phone, your speakers barely work, and the fact your are constantly miscalculating your food costs and running out of a high demand item Something mut be done. Come on Dairy Queen be a Queen and not the hot mess...

I’m graciously giving this place one star. I don’t know when I’ve been so disappointed in a restaurant. I’m not sure where to begin. I’ll just quickly try to cover it all. The gal taking our order was polite but lost acting. She actually clocked out after taking our order so everyone after her acted like they didn’t have a clue when I asked about our food 30 minutes later. We got bits and pieces of our order but it took over 45 minutes to get all of our food. Not just us. I watched everyone either complaining that their order was wrong or getting a refund. The kicker….😡…I went back to the counter for the 4 th time to retrieve a double cheese burger. The lost soul working behind the counter, who I had watched go in the back area several times where the food was being prepared and come back up front (wandering without purpose), OPENED UP A FOOD BOX ON THE COUNTER AND PROCEEDED TO CHECK THE CONTENTS! Handling the hamburger bun and the meat, closed it and went to the next box and did the same then turned around and told me that none of those was the double cheeseburger. I asked him what he was doing…”why are you handling food that you are supposed to be serving? You don’t have on gloves and you’re gonna turn around and give that food to someone.” He just shrugged his shoulders and walked off! I was done! I can’t believe the’ manager’ was allowing the amount of chaos I witnessed. My family won’t be back and based on the steam rising from the other customers they won’t be...

This is the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever gone to. The first few times I just chopped it up to them being stressed because of staffing but the last few time it’s just plain hateful people who work here.today I left this location in tears bc the people here are just so mean and will say nasty things just right to your face. Don’t ever use the mobile app bc they will never once get it right and then they will straight up tell you they hate when you use it. If you have a choice I would not recommend this Dairy Queen location to anyone. My breaking point was today when I went through the drive through to use a coupon that I had got from this location bc they messed up my order before and it was I could get a free cone or a $2 blizzard upgrade. I ordered my blizzard at the drive through and drove around and asked the lady if I could use it and she got very defensive from the start and asked where I even got it from and I said from here this is the only one here and she said she didint even know if she could believe me to use it here and why I was even asking. I had been having a long day so I teared up and just handed her my card to pay full price and left. I just don’t know why this...
