Jeremiah's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Georgia

Miyah truly deserves a raise. Her customer service is exceptional every single time. She consistently goes above and beyond, and somehow manages to make every order look even better than the pictures. From the moment you walk in, she greets you with kindness and is always ready with helpful flavor recommendations.

She embodies what great customer service should be, and she’s the main reason I continue coming back to this location. I’ve tried another Jeremiah’s location before, and the experience didn’t compare. My order felt rushed and lacked the care and attention that Miyah always provides.

Because of Miyah, I’ve recommended this location to friends and family, and even brought them along to experience it for themselves. She truly deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication. I hope management takes notice. Thank you again Miyah!

Update: I visited again today because I had such a great experience yesterday with Miyah and she wasn’t there today. Look at the difference when somebody else made my order. Additionally the customer service was lacking. The young lady rushed us in an empty store, didn’t greet us, and overall was not personable at all. At this point I only want to come in when Miyah is there and she needs to train the other employees. Still tasted...

even better than the italian itself, is the service. (Which is saying a lot because the italian ice is AMAZING). I have had the pleasure of going to two Jeremiah’s locations so far, one in Peachtree City (which I have already written a review for) and this one in Decatur. Both times I was met with smiling faces and enthusiasm. Henry, who is the owner of the PC location, was so kind!

I went to the one in Decatur today, and the manager there, LaPorsha, was just as upbeat and nice. She patiently answered all questions I had, chit-chatted with me as if we were old friends, and made an amazing italian ice. the atmosphere is very fun. I recommend bringing your entire family/friend group here.

of course, besides wonderful service, the flavors and toppings are delicious! I suggest the cookie butter italian ice and the biscoff crumbles to everyone i know. my only suggestion would be to maybe eat the first bit outside or ask for an extra cup when getting the crumbles because the bit sprinkled on the top can get a little bit messy, but only because they are very generous with helpings which is another amazing aspect of this store,...

Jeremiah’s is delicious. It just is. Impeccable texture. Sharp flavor. I had a Bahama Freeze/piña colada. It was perfect. My children both got Hoppin’ Mango bobas. They both LOVED them. My husband got a small root beer and liked it so much he got a Bahama Freeze/piña colada to go!

LaPortia helped us. She was super patient while my first grader read the menu and let him try a sample since he wasn’t sure and he’d never been there before. The experience was almost perfect. The only reason I’m giving four stars for the store instead of the 5 stars that LaPortia deserves is because I was disappointed not to be able to tip her properly. The store has a lot of signage that says no cash and the iPad offers a few tip options, but when I tried to tip her with the “other” button where you write in the amount, the system wouldn’t work. That’s a serious issue. They have a great staff and those people should be compensated appropriately. I hope corporate addresses the issue before my next visit, or I won’t feel comfortable going back.
