Last update: went back a couple weeks ago to pick up an order placed online. It was lunch time but only two people were working, both of them making sandwiches. No one at the register, answering the phone, etc. Once they had a few sandwiches made one of the two workers would stop and try to ring up a few customers at once. The place was filthy - trash and food items on the floor and counters. It took a bit to get my sandwich and it was disappointingly not made correctly. I’ll never go back to this location again - which is really too bad because I like Jersey’s Mikes and this was convenient. Past updates: Unfortunately this place is already headed downhill. The first time I visited - right after opening - I was so happy with the cleanliness of the store and pleasant attitude of the staff. I’ve been 2 other times since then and it has progressively gotten worse. Today was just bad: the “slicing” person was bickering with the “making” person, who seemed uninterested in being there at all. Read moreThey open at 10am and we were there around 10:05 ( we were there early and we felt bad, just trying to get a sub to eat later for lunch at work ) the doors were still locked even though the welcome sign was turned on, which was fine. The manager came to unlock it for us. Received a rude stare down from her as she walked towards us. We were getting ready to apologize for showing up right when they opened, but didn’t get a chance to, because as soon as she unlocked it, she turned her back to us and walked away. Not even a “welcome” or “good morning” from the manager?…. Yikes! She stared at her laptop screen while she took our orders at first. Very clearly trying to send us a message we were an inconvenience to her morning, being there that early. Asked for a receipt ( need it for work expense ) and she ignored me and stayed at her laptop. Another coworker had to walk up and get me my receipt. I said thank you appreciate it and walked out. Sad thing is she probably will be the one that has to read this, and will reply with excuse. Read moreI placed a to go order on Saturday February 24,2024. My order was 2 tuna regular subs. The overall appearance of the sub seemed fine. Once I returned to my workplace to have lunch with a coworker we ate the entire sub. After we finished our lunch we returned to work, after about an hour and a half we started to get sick almost at the same time. I’m 100 percent sure it was the sub. I contacted the manager and told her what happened and her response was I don’t know how the sub made you all sick because we make the tuna fresh every morning and that was the end of the conversation. I’m sure they understand that a couple of things could’ve happened to cause two people to get sick from different households.
