JJ Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Georgia

Thought I'd give this place a try. Should have known better to go this place as most of the food establishments on Old Nat are unclean/dirty, ghetto, and the employees from the management on down are either hood, rude, disrespectful and are very unprofessional with poor communication skills and they fail to deliver customer service. Should have alao known better when I grabbed the door and it was locked at 4pm with customers inside with their in-house security guard standing post at the locked door. Makes no sense. Nonetheless, I placed an order(wing & fries) for myself and chicken tenders and fries for my daughter. Nothing special. We waited and we waited and waited as they called order number after order number from people who came after us. Finally, I went back to the counter to ask about our food and was told by the loud, ghetto, unprofessional, dark-skinned girl with the half blonde and half orange braids who I heard using profanity at the register rudely say "they don't go by ticket numbers. That was a lie because everyone that received their food after me received it according to their place in line. Was told by another female at the register that chicken tenders take longer to cook--15 min longer to be exact. Now we had already been sitting in the lobby waiting well past 15 min, not only that chicken tenders are usually fully cooked before chicken wings so they should have been done. Not one time did any of the 4 female employees standing at the front registers offer to assist me, apologize for any inconvenience or take it upon themselves to see what was taking my order so long. They saw me sitting and waiting in the lobby. No type of assistance was offered whatsoever. I had been waiting for over 40 minutes for food. At this point I was very disgusted and just wanted my money back. At my request the girl gets the manager who comes to front doesn't say not one word to me. Didn't even acknowledge me. Didn't ask what happened. Didn't offer an apology. Didn't say anything. He just handed me my money from the register. Non-existent customer service. Very sad. You don't treat people like this--not me anyway. Manager doesn't know how to lead with customer service. Absolutely no excuse for the disrespect and disservice. Period. And this is why I don't like going to places like this. I will not...

Was visiting ATL on the July holiday weekend and I was researching spots prior to my arrival and I saw JJ pop up a few times. So I ordered the wing and fries platter with seasoning (which I wasn't sure wat it meant) and I ordered a Double clam platter with fries. The website doesn't explain that the seasoning is a DRY powder and they need to explain what flavor is this so called " Famous" seasoning. I found it to be a lite salt and vinegar taste. IDK? Others may find it to be a taste of ??? All I know is it was slightly tangy. The FULL wings were tremendously small (see pic) and I ordered a DOUBLE clam and now I wonder if there are any clams on a single platter. Portions here a very small!!! They hype the plate with bread underneath and give you an abundant amount of fries. But don't worry my vision ain't blurry!!!! Frozen seafood. KFC type wings very small and to think a person would actually rob a young bird from the mother's breast just to make a buck. SMH. Report: JJ's seems like a place to visit after a nite partying and needing some grease in your belly to offset the alcohol consumption....

Visiting Atlanta for the weekend of August 4-6......read the reviews and decided to try this place........the cashier was very sweet & courteous as I was fish struck😛 about the menu ...I wanted it all....lol... I ordered the catfish, fries, crab bites and shrimp platter....about $22 ...not bad considering it's seafood....as I waiting amongst other patrons for their orders... .I noticed their refridgerated desserts..OMG..OMG..OMG... I spotted the caramel, red velvet, strawberry cakes slices.... I bought the caramel cake with delight, oh, I was a happy camper !!! Sadly, when I got to my car & opened my food to destroy it...after the first bite , I realized my order was not correct..it was whities not catfish ....too hot & famished to go back & exchange....I dealt with it. It was good .no complaints.....let the cake get room temp & 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳.....that CARAMEL CAKE WAS DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS....OMG DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS...
