I’ve been here twice and both were different experiences. The first time was with a friend and it was empty. We ordered pollo a la brasa, and it was good. Service was also quick and good. Since it was a good experience, I decided to bring my family for Mother’s Day. Huge mistake. The place was fuller, which was expected and not the problem. The big problems were that the service was atrocious and we were charged with something that was not mentioned to us before. Our first sever kept forgetting to bring our drinks and appetizer. Then my mom asked the server four times for tartar sauce for her jalea, and she never brought it. She also asked a fifth time after we paid, and the server forgot again. When I was paying for our bill, the server went over everything on the bill but the amount sounded too high so I asked for the receipt. Upon reviewing it, there was a 20% tip charged to my card. I was not given the option to select anything from the card reader, so I went to ask the workers behind the counter about it. The man told me that it was their boss’ new policy to charge that for groups over the weekend. My group was of 4 people including myself, so I asked about that and he said the charge starts with groups of 4 people. I told him that no one had said that to us when we arrived and sat down, so it would be a good idea to bring it up so people aren’t surprised. Overall, it was a bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place. The food was okay this time, the service was terrible, and the vibe was not great. That being said, they are a new restaurant and I hope they improve and do better next time. There’s definitely...
Read moreThis restaurant is fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious, and the flavors truly stand out. I visited on Mother’s Day, and while I expected some delays—given how busy every restaurant gets on such a special day—I didn’t mind waiting at all.
Unfortunately, some other guests didn’t seem to have the same understanding and were clearly frustrated by the slower service. But let’s be real: it’s a holiday, and with high demand, delays are bound to happen. I’m not making excuses, but it’s important to be realistic on days like this.
That said, I’d probably avoid dining here on major holidays until they’re able to staff up a bit more. This location is still new, and like any new place, there’s always room to grow—and I’m confident they’re learning from the experience.
On regular days, the service and food have always been excellent. My family and I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. We genuinely love this spot!
Don’t let the negative reviews from Mother’s Day discourage you. This place stands out among other restaurants, especially for its fresh, made-to-order dishes. With multiple menus, much of what they offer isn’t made in bulk—which means quality, flavorful food every time.
In short, this is hands-down the best Peruvian restaurant I’ve tried, and I highly recommend giving...
Read moreFrom the very first bite, the Lurín-style breakfast instantly transported me to the heart of Peru. Rich with tradition and flavor, this hearty morning meal combined perfectly seasoned tamales, freshly baked bread, and a vibrant salsa criolla. Every component felt authentic and homemade—especially the chicharrón, which was crispy on the outside and unbelievably tender inside. Paired with sweet potato slices and a sip of café pasado, it was a perfect balance of comfort and boldness. But the real showstopper? The Caja China Pork Belly. Slow-roasted to absolute perfection, the pork belly had a golden, crackling skin that shattered delicately under the fork, revealing layers of juicy, melt-in-your-mouth meat. The smoky aroma and rich marinade told a story of patience and technique. This is not just a dish—it’s a celebration of flavor.
The fusion of ancient tradition and modern presentation was impressive. Whether you're familiar with Peruvian cuisine or tasting it for the first time, this experience leaves a lasting impression.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended for food lovers seeking true Peruvian...
