We just went to get ice cream and never again…..
I got a single scoop in a cone, which totaled 3.5 spoonfuls, and not heaping spoonfuls. This was the double scoop my partner got, which turned out to be 5 spoonfuls, also not heaping (the bottom of the waffle bowl is 1in below the lip of the cup)
I think what was even worse was the fact the manager was sitting right there and didn’t address the issue. So, I don’t know if Marble Slab itself has just gotten ridiculously cheap on their portions or if it a staff/management/training issue.
We dumped the ice cream out of the bowl for a picture then threw everything away. We will just accept a $15 loss and go to Brusters (where we should have gone to in the first place). We didn’t bother asking to speak to the manager since she was standing there the entire time the kid was preparing our ice cream…..
Photos of are the “double scoop” in the waffle bowl and the 2nd to show how shallow the bowl actually is. I don’t normally leave bad reviews, it takes a LOT for me to leave one. This? This was...
Read moreI was excited to learn we had a marble slab here in marietta however the young lady making my milkshakes did not seem to know what she was doing she put too little milk in the blender which made it too thick that's not the worst part though the worst part was her using her bare hands to scrape the ice cream out of the scoop into the blender that was absolutely disgusting she should have used a spoon or been wearing gloves. I had to make her put on gloves which she slwent to the back room and complained to another employee that I made her put on gloves. Also I notice they were using milk and whipped cream bought from Kroger which tells me these were transported in a personal unrefrigerated vehicle to be used as ingredients this is a health code violation and if their product was recalled the store would never know it and someone could get sick from it and since I work for Kroger I will be reporting this to our loss...
Read moreIt was fine. Very expensive for the amount you get. My husband said it was the best pumpkin ice cream he'd had, but it wasn't enough to make up for the hefty price tag. Best thing is you get a waffle cone with each ice cream and unlimited toppings. However, as an adult the unlimited toppings isn't as appealing as when you're a kid and want to drown the ice cream with candies and gummies. Lol I got sweet mint and sweet cream with chocolate chips. Delicious, but again, so pricey we...
