The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Georgia

Placed an order via third party order delivery company on Friday for a Monday delivery. This was supposed to be delivered to a family as a condolences for the loss of a loved one. The order was scheduled for delivery between 5pm and 5:30pm. At approximately 5:45pm we still had not been notified of the order being picked up. We attempted to contact this store directly by phone to inquire about our order but no one ever answered. We also confirmed we were still before their posted closing time. We then contacted the corporate customer service. Explained the issue we were experiencing. The representative only advised us to continue trying to contact the store and the delivery company. We were already speaking with the delivery company and they also attempted to contact the store directly with no luck.

We told The Honey Baked Ham representative that the delivery company was unable to contact the store also. It was then that the representative told us that they had a system update and we wouldn’t be able to contact the store. He then advised us to continue trying to contact the store until we were able to reach someone.

We were then advised by the delivery company that they went ahead and cancelled the order due to no confirmation or communication from the store. I advised the representative from The Honey Baked Ham that the order had been cancelled. I responded with “Continue to try and contact the store manager and the delivery company manager to coordinate the delivery.”

I haven’t had lunch here in quite some time and looked forward to having lunch with my wife and grandson as I remembered how great the side broccoli bacon salad was. This time however was bad enought that my wife couldn’t eat it and I was not pleased with it at all. It had an overwhelming sour, vinegary taste and not balcony at all. I mistook the bacon as small pieces of ham because it was not crisp and had no bacon taste My wife and I were so so disappointed that we threw the bacon broccoli salad out. Absolutely amazing experience today. I did not get the managers name, but she took my order. She was so upbeat and positive and made me so happy to order sandwiches, she made me want to visit this location every day. Caroline made my sandwichs and they were delicious. Thank you so much to the both of you for the best experience I have ever had at Honey Baked Ham, this location will be my go to from now on.
