Martin's Restaurant — Restaurant in Georgia

Absolutely unbelievable. I’m writing this FROM the drive thru window- because I’ve been directly in front of it for a full two minutes- and now I’m waiting for them to fix my order. From ordering to actually getting my food took 34 minutes. People were walking in, eating, and walking out- before I even reached the window. You would assume it was lack of staff…..but no. Just from view of the drive thru, there were 4 employees. All I ordered was large grits and a bacon & egg sandwich! I really don’t ever complain, because food service is rough in any conditions- but this was just insane. No apologies, no acknowledgment of taking over half an hour to make this food, no apology for even STILL getting my order wrong. Like…I legit can make a large grits and bacon biscuit in 20 minutes at the house, so you would assume a staff of people with a near empty lobby and one drive thru order at a time could get it in under 30. Not that it matters to anybody, but I’ll never go back. Nobody should run out of gas sitting at a drive thru. On top of it all, my biscuit was room...

Not sure who hires the new crew but they are something else. Gravy was mostly water and made it soupy. Biscuits weren't even all the way done. Grits were cold and the eggs don't even get me started on the eggs. The service was weak. If u repeat my order we could have established the correct order cause talking to ur coworker was more important. Heard everything. If u don't like ur job then quit, mcdonalds is hiring up the street and pays more. But their service is always constantly worse so the drive thru person today and go there. Kieana Tindle shared a review about a week ago (03/19/22) concerning some of the same issues I have. The restaurant is simply NASTY. I dined in and ordered the Steak/Egg/Cheese biscuit with grits and sweet tea. Although my order was not prepared correctly twice, the food was good. A I did not see a health score posted, but it was not until I got my food and sat in the dining area. The tables were nasty and sticky. The varnish on the wood was peeling off, the base boards had tons of dust and the floor corners were dirty.
