The service here was HORRIBLE!!! I recently started a new job in this area of town and this seems to be the closest McDonald's to where I now work. On the way to work, I stopped through the drive thru to get breakfast. I didn't have a problem with anything until I got to the second window. I barely pulled up and they handed me my drink and asked me to pull up further to wait for my food. (Mistake #1) As I'm waiting, I notice the car behind me receives his food and he leaves. The next car pulls up and they do the same to her as they did to me, but because I only pulled up enough to be next to the door and to give the car behind me enough room to get around me, the girl in drive thru leaned out the window and yelled to have me pull up more. (Mistake #2) Finally after 15 minutes of waiting, they bring me my food. (Mistake #3) When I get to work I open my food to find that it's not what I had ordered. (Mistake #4) I called the number on the receipt to talk to a manager and describe my problems and all he can say is he's understaffed and has some inexperienced workers. (Mistake #5) That is NOT an acceptable excuse. The manager didn't sound sincere while he was apologizing and giving his excuses and he didn't sound like he planned to do anything to fix any of these problems.
I understand that fast food restaurants have a certain drive thru time that they try to keep to a minimum number, but having a customer pull out of drive thru 2 seconds after they are in it just because they don't want their drive thru time make them look bad is WRONG and RUDE! And the manager blaming everything on the fact that some people didn't come to work for being "sick or pregnant or just not there" is completely unprofessional and inexcusable. That's life, sometimes people get sick, but using it as an excuse and not doing anything to fix the problem is not acceptable
I posted this same review to their profile on McDonald's website. I also said there that I intend to take this complaint as high up the McDonald's corporate ladder as I needed to find someone who actually cares enough to give real actions with real results instead of making excuses.
I hope anyone reading this will take it into consideration and I hope McDonald's fixes...
Read moreFirst, the service is TERRIBLY slow, at least in the drive thru. I've stopped by here for several lunches now at various hours and even when off peak lunch hours, it takes forever for me to get my order at the pickup window. I once had to wait eleven minutes (yes, that's 11 minutes!!) for some Chicken McNuggets. It does NOT take that long to fry those out of the freezer. The employee who met my waiting car (shut off in the hot summer sun after about four minutes of waiting) said they were short staffed. Not only that, but the workers often forget to even include napkins and I have to ASK for napkins . SERIOUSLY? This is 101 type basic service requirements here folks. At least I've never failed to be given a straw though for my drink.
Second, the food quality is hit or miss. About half the time I've had freshly cooked Big Macs or Filet-O-Fishes, and the other half it's obvious they sat around for quite a while. The last fish filet I got had the cheese turning nearly yellow and looking nearly dried out. Fries are the same: sometimes you get fresh fries, other times you get soggy room temperature ones. I really wish McD's would step up their food product quality. They are in trouble as it is in the fast food market and issues like this are not helping.
Third and finally, I am more and more having a problem with their basic combo meal prices being over $6 out the door. I much prefer paying about $1 more for a higher quality Wendy's double cheeseburger combo over a Big Mac combo. I have never had a stale burger and soggy fries there no matter the time. Unfortunately they are out of the way on my way to and from my work commute. Management here needs to step it up. I called McDonald's corporate to complain. I think the recent bad experience with not only the usual long wait but the poor food quality will be...
Read moreThe manager knowingly passed out an incorrect order and was laughing and staring at me while handing me the incorrect order. I was handed an old chicken biscuit and old fries. Breakfast ended an hour ago so it couldn't have been an mistake. The way a manager sat there laughing at me as she shoved ketchup in my hand was disgusting. She should be fired and not allowed to work for any McDonald's franchise or corporate. I've really had enough of McDonald's poor service at any and almost every location it's disappointing that we as patrons allow this corporation to get away with this. If majority of Chick-fil-A locations can get employees with good attitudes why can't McDonald's? I am starting a petition to start closing down so many locations in large cities and giving other restaurants that care about the customer which is the bottom line a...
