Horrendous service overall! constantly some issue with our orders. Today was the day I finally blew my top!! I am a creature of habit and always order the Egg White Delight, I always have them substitute the Canadian bacon for regular bacon. I have ordered this item over at least a dozen times at this particular McDonald's and numerous times at other McDonald's without any problems. Today for some reason they decided to try and charge me 75 cents additional? When I asked the attendant why? she said "they always do that" I explained to her that nobody at that location or any other location in the Savannah area has ever charged me additional for substituting the bacon. We went back and forth about it, and I explained that I am not ordering anything additional, but just asking them to substitute something similar for something similar, and that it has never been an issue before at that McDonald's or any other store I have visited.. Finally I asked to speak to her supervisor who was equally obstinate and confrontational with me, and would not honor my request. I left and called their corporate headquarters immediately. When all is said and done they lost a sale of $19.00 for me and my girlfriends breakfast meals. I will hereon out boycott this McDonald's location and write a bad review of this restaurant on every internet site I can find, and forewarn potential customers about the lousy service in general, and the really bad customer service from the manager* I did not get the managers name, but will find out and update this post as soon as I find...
Read moreOk...where to begin. The general manager of this store needs to clean house, especially the night shift. I'm not one who complains but I would say that last 10 times that either myself or my family members have ordered through the drive thru there have been many mistakes. Not only is our order wrong every single time but the wait is extremely to long. For example, we went last night and two vehicles left the drive thru because apparently no one was at the speaker so the person in front of me went to the window to order and as I was coming up to the speaker they finally spoke and I of course asked if they were open due to lack of communication with customers. Then we waited 15 MINUTES after we ordered our food and there was only 1 car in front of me. THEN....my order was COLD! After working 15 hours that day I was hungry and not for cold food. NOT only that but my boyfriend after working the same amount of hours went through on his way home and they completely screwed up his order as well as left off one of his childrens. I told him to call and go back however once we got home it was muke point. Yes, he could have checked the bag to make sure however HE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO. Read moreI've been coming to this location for over a year and there has been varying improvement. There have been several times where the order was wrong or a juice box was forgotten but I didn't want to take the time to turn around to have it fixed. Today I ordered from the new signature sandwich menu and when I got home I realized I'd been charged for two sides and my sandwich was just a chicken breast, tomato, and lettuce (none of the signature toppings). After forking over $10 I was definitely going to go back! The young man (I think his name was Josh) who helped me was very sweet and apologetic and gave me a refund for the fries I didn't order. He also had the correct sandwich waiting for me upon my arrival. Overall today has proven that this McD is getting better. The two drivethru girls were very nice and wished me a great day. The fixed sandwich was one of the best things I've had at McD or any fast food EVER! Honestly if the order had been right to start I would have been happy, but going back and receiving such great and kind service after the fact improved my mood and gave me hope for this place.
