My wife and I stopped in after they had been open for 7 days. I want to start by saying we 100% understand this is a new location. I also understand that Moe's is by no means a new food chain. We got 2 quesadillas. The portions were so far off. Not enough cheese to hold anything together. The chicken was very pink (later upset both of our stomachs) and the quesadilla was simply cut in half and folded over. I wasn’t even sure what we ordered by the time I opened it at the table. When I brought it back to the counter, not a single employee understood what the issue was. I got blank stares like no one had ever seen a quesadilla?? The manager was very helpful and remade the quesadilla. Still was not made well and cut wrong. The shift manager was clearly spread too thin. It seemed this was the entire staffs first day ever being in a Moe's. I have frequented many Moe’s over the years and I was in shock with how bad this one was. Lots of room for improvement and I hope things get better. For now we will continue to go to the Moe’s in riverstone. They have been great...
Read moreI recently (accidentally) placed a mobile order for this location instead of my usual Canton, GA location, as I live about 20 minutes from both. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst food experience I've ever had at Moe's.
There were some issues with the app, but that's a corporate matter and not relevant here. When my son brought the order home, my family and I sat down to eat and immediately noticed several problems:
The seasoned rice in all four items was both overcooked and undercooked. This inconsistency made the entire meal inedible. (See attached picture)
The steak in my bowl was so overcooked it was inedible. (See attached picture)
One of the burritos contained a large amount of guacamole, which the person who ordered it did not ask for and does not like.
The only saving grace was when I called the store to discuss the issue. Since it's a 45-minute round trip from my home, I appreciated that the manager on duty, Jayden, listened to my complaints and offered a refund, which I thought was gracious given the...
Read moreExcited to try this new outpost near our new house. Could have become a regular spot for my family of 5. The atmosphere was fresh but the pleasantry ended there. Cold food except for my quesadilla which got a little warmer in the griddle. Salsa bar was half empty. But the worst part was the pricing. We had just eaten at Chipotle nearby on Sunday. Total for all 5 of us was $49. Tonight at this Moe’s with one less to feed, we were at $53 and prompted to tip starting at 15%. In most cases I don’t mind tipping (as a former server myself) but I’m so fatigued by the practice of prompting/guilting tips in non full service experiences that I actually find myself loving brands more that don’t use this tactic. Chipotle doesn’t promote tipping at all. For a long time Moe’s was perceived to be the more affordable brand than Chipotle. That is clearly no longer the case. It won’t take long for customers to figure that out. I hope they do. Right now they are being taken advantage of by greedy...
