Mughals — Restaurant in Georgia

Definitely a NOT RECOMMENDED spot for Iftar buffet. I drove 3.5 hours for iftar buffet to Mughals yesterday evening and had the worst possible experience one can get with regards to money being paid. The customer service was extremely pathetic. If you have so many people over, you should ensure adequate supply of food and make possible arrangement so that everyone can serve themselves. However, despite having two buffet tables, only one was opened despite hall being crowded with a big line and wait time on getting g to the items.

Further, the iftar items or starters, only were served once. When my number finally came, I only had few samosas left and chart. I asked the staff to refill it but first she was clueless as to what I asked and then she said starters are only 1 serve and they were never refilled. So if you’re coming late or get stuck in long line, expect to be left empty handed. BTW, there were only 5 starters and 3 drinks.

Then comes the Main items which were 6 in total. Biryani was though tasty (no doubt on it with rice and spices blended well), but only had bones of chicken in it with most of chicken already shredded. Presentation and delivery matters. Mutton was dripping in oil and hardly resembled any Karahi unless it wasn’t which begs the question as to what was it? Tawa chicken had half cooked pieces with no proper taste. However, my only salvation was tandoori chicken which was best of the lot.

Final Note; given the $24.99/head price, I believe it’s definitely not worth it and was a giant waste of my money, my time...

I am very disappointed in the Mughal’s . This is usually my favorite restaurant and they have the best butter chicken . The reason I am upset . I came last week . I called in a Togo order

I came 20 mins later as they said . I waited 1 and 30 mins . Then they finally realized my food hasn’t came out . Then I set my table with a plate because I was starving to eat , at this point . I went to the bathroom came back the toilet f lady said I’m sorry I thought you were gone she moved all my things . Then I still waited longer , then other worker asked her what was my order then he came to me I said butter chicken snd rice . He oh my just one order. The young lady goes to the back I can hear her where is the butter chicken and rice . As I am waiting everyone is getting served everyone is getting there food . Then I said I want cancel my order she says they don’t have rice they don’t have this and that . Then they kept telling no please we can give you something else and just take it please and gave me a refund . Today 5/30/21 I called I ordered same thing happened today I walk to pay the man couldn’t find my order so I didn’t pay because the order wasn’t put in . I’m upset I have to go to work and I’m hungry . I called right after I left to let him know , he said sorry and to come back but I don’t have the time . This is not what the restaurant will want to hear but you guys put a BAD name to service. I came in with one more family and 3 kids all of them under the age of 3. Ordered food and waited a good 1 hour to get anything served to us. In the meantime we sat 15mins plus to have our table cleaned. Twice I called 2 different staff to ask for a highchair since we had 3 kids and there were only 2 visible chairs. The first staff (lady) said "WHAT" and walked away to never return. The second staff (male) said wait and went but never returned. So 2 staff went and didnt come back to give us a high chair while we waited an hour for food ro be served and a dirty table. And then after the dishes were served, our main item , the mixed platter was missing. I asked twice to different stafg again and was told its just about ready. Our meal was over and we fed 3 kids and the dish dint come. The front desk staff taking the order then informed me that due to some miscommunication the order was not taken and they are preparing it. I waited ankther 15mins with one kid in lap (no high chair) and food done. The dish dint come and so i requested it being canceled.
