Listen closely. I decided to venture to this brand new, simply beautiful Popeyes to have lunch. I already have to wait at the Belair location for 20-25 minutes some days so I figured, why not try this location. It canāt be any worse than Belair, right? One thing I realize is this. No matter how you dress a location, If the service is poor, there will be no good word of mouth to come of it. Iāve listed some things that can drastically SAVE this store below:
The food is always good and itās a shame because Iām more than likely willing to wait for the flavor. Imagine if the food was out the door like Chic Fil A. Why waste such a beautiful store with absolutely poor service. When a customer walks into the store, acknowledging them is extremely important. Eyes - Mouth. Let the customer know you see them by actually looking at them, and then speak pleasant words to them so they can get all giddy and buy a couple more apple pies. If you have a restaurant full of people and five customers in a row ask for straws and napkins, check to see if your stations are fully stocked. Donāt sit in the counter with your back to the lobby. Sweep and clean the eating areas.
Please understand I love Popeyes and I believe this store has potential. Unfortunately it doesnāt work like that in America. You better get the service right or the competitors will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNormaly I don't write reviews. I tend to blame it on bad days or short staff.... whatever. Today I went thru the drive thru about 6:30PM. all of the outside lights were off. No lights in the parking lot. I actually believed they were closed if not for the other car in the drive thru. When I placed my order I was told they were out of Sweet heat sauce. No big deal stuff happens. when I get to the window, they tell me "oh, Sorry we don't have spicy tenders, is mild ok?" Well, again, no big deal, right?! I get home and sit down to eat, first of all my box was in the bag upside down so everything poured into the bag...still no big deal... the fries... Cold..... like from the freezer cold. My Tenders.....if you want to call them that..... there were 4.... not 5 and they were the size of Chicken nuggets. This is too much. this Popeyes is always failing me. I should have just driven over to Belair. Mybe I wouldn't be so hungry and broken hearted. If you didn't want to make fresh spicy tenders....at least make sure you give me tenders....and not 4 tiny nuggets. I should have just gone to McDonalds because the people there at least work....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars, I would. This location is suppose to service until midnight according to their published servicing hours. We arrived at approximately 9:35pm. There are about 5 cars lined up through the drive-thru and NOT moving forward so we thought perhaps it would be quicker if we go inside. There were 2 employees up front, one look up at me and turn back around with no type of acknowledgment. No worries, we just headed up to the counter to order our food. The other employee tells us that they are not taking any more orders for tonight! No explanation why or mention if drive thru was taking orders or anything. We leave without a fuss because at this point Iām done giving this business my money. This is by far the worst location Iāve ever been too. The time before tonight they had me waiting 45 minutes, no exaggeration! I waited because the worker that night was really sweet and offered something additional for the wait and I had no place to be. This location just needs to be shut down already. Just throw the entire Popeyes away and put something...
