My family and I went to this restaurant for the first time on Thursday (08/20/2020). We tried to order lunch off of the lunch menu, we decided what we wanted to eat and as we were completing our orders on the website we were informed that we missed the window for ordering lunch so we had to order off the dinner menu. Okay, no problem. Even though we were within the limits of their lunch timeframe we ordered dinner, and had to pay the dinner prices (we ordered before 1:30). So because of this it pushed our food back a little bit on the time it was supposed to be ready. Then the website took a little minute to load so that added an additional 10 minutes to our wait time. Once again no complaints there. I was the only one that tipped out of our âpartyâ and my order was the only one that was messed up. I ordered a 12 count of the grilled shrimp with seasoned rice, broccoli, and an additional side of the lobster and shrimp chowder. Our food was set to be ready at 2:20. My brother and I pulled up at 2:21, we called the number to let them know we were outside and ready to pick up our order. We didnât get our food until 2:32. We get home and I noticed my order was wrong. Instead of 12 pieces of shrimp I only received 8 pieces. I called the store immediately after checking my receipt, my online order verification, and the ticket attached to my order. The woman who answered the phone tried to say that it couldâve been a mistake and that I thought I ordered 12 but really ordered 8 due to the fact that they just recently switched to the dinner menu. I explained to her that I ordered dinner (when ordering dinner you get the option to choose between the two, for lunch you donât) and that I specifically ordered 12. I get put on hold and the manager for the shift answered the phone, Kyle Kelly. We spoke about the âmishapâ and he guaranteed my order would be compensated for because of this with a gift card. We came to this agreement because I had errands to run and couldnât immediately return to the store to be given a replacement meal. He said he would put my name in the system so that way the manager coming in for the later shift would know I would be coming. I came to the store and let two couple be seated before I addressed my issue with the hostess. A young girl with a nasty attitude, I explained what happened and she continued to tell me to take it up with the to go waitress because she wasnât aware of what was going on. I went to the bar and was met with a bag of food that was just sitting there for God knows how long. I explained to the lady that I didnât want to waste there food as I would not be eating it and I became aggravated and tired and just asked if I could just be refunded the difference between what I ordered and what I got. She got the manager for the later shift, Eddie, and I explained to him I only wanted to be refund the difference between the 12 piece meal and the 8 piece meal. He asked if I paid cash or card, I showed him my receipt and told him I paid with my card. I explain to him if it was easier for him, I would the refund in cash to make my interaction with them short and sweet. He explained to me that due to store policy it couldnât be done in cash. So I told him to do what was easiest for him. He decided to refund my money to my card. This happened all on the day day, Thursday (08/20/2020), and he said I should have my money by the next day. Today is Saturday (08/22/2020) two whole days later and I still havenât received my hard earned money back. They took the total for the meal and the tip off my card. I say all this to say Longhorns in Grovetown Georgia isnât a restaurant I will ever suggest to my family. Imagine if my dad a veteran with PTSD had the...
Read moreI am reporting to Corporate the poor quality and customer service from your Longhorn Steak House location in Grovetown Georgia. I am nurse and after working long hours will call in for curbside pickup. I usually always order two meals the Flo/Lobster and Salmon 10oz meal, as you know is no small change! I first contacted the Longhorn Mgr. via telephone on January 2, 2021 after I had received 2 prior dissatisfied pick-up orders. I felt the Mgr. to appease me was to offer a e-card for the uneatable side orders we received. The e-card was sent to my email on January 2, 2022 for $15 (small token for the cost of the sides) â On January 31, 202 my daughter ordered curbside pickup using the ecard. The meal itself was satisfactory, however, no bread or extra sides we requested were included. Yesterday, Feb 8, 2022 was a long exhausting day at work. My daughter called in an order for curbside pickup for me to pick up on my way home. It was somewhere around 4:35-40 when I arrived, and your parking lot was bare at that time. I called several times to alert them of my arrival, but the phone would ring (snapshot the recorded time was 4-5 minutes) before I decided to go in to your restaurant. The young lady at your front desk displayed excellent customer service (she should be recognized for this) She directed to the bar area to person who takes the calls for curbside pickup her name was Holden (lack of customer service). I told her my name and my attempts to call. She said my food wouldnât be ready for another 15 minutes and TOLD me to go back and sit in my CAR. Taken back, I told this young girl that since I was in the restaurant that I would wait inside. I observed the interaction she had with another customer (sitting at the bar) walk over to her to pay his bill and heard her tell him he needed to go back to the bar to pay. Please keep in mind your Restaurant was not BUSY. There may have been a handful of seated customers and only two cars noted in the curbside pickup. After sitting for 15 minutes Holden walks over with my order in a PLASTIC Grocery BAG tied in knot to hand to me. I asked that she place my $$$ food order in a brown bag. Holden attempts to reach her arm out and hand me my order in the PLASTIC Bag to hold assuming while she went back to get a Brown Paper Bag. All I could do was to smile telling her she can Take my plastic bag with her to place in a Paper bag. I left very dissatisfied!! I only live 5-10 minutes from your Restaurant. When I got home, we opened our food and found both MEALS to be COLD, not lukewarm but COLD and Very Salty !!! My daughter (experienced in the food industry, owns bartending and meal prep Business in Atlanta immediately called your store Mgr. She told your Mgr. she doesnât want money but wants these concerns to be taken seriously and something done. Your manager did speak to me and asked if I would like to come back to your Restaurant to pick up another meal but said I was too exhausted from my day working (RN). I am writing you now because of the ongoing poor quality of my food and service I have continued to receive. At this point, looking back at my receipts orders $$$ of curbside pickup orders I want to be assured that when I order my food it will be held up to the standards that Longhorn advertises! I do not foresee COVID going away anytime soon and rely of my local restaurants in times of need when I havenât eaten a meal throughout my work day!
Respectfully, very disappointed and...
Read moreI am disappointed in the service this location served when I visited. I always come to this location because I usually never have a problem with service or food. But on Thursday March 2, 2023 a friend and myself dined in, ate a good meal. We never asked for the check hence we was talking over drinks. But our server quickly asked was the checks together or separate. Once the togo boxes was brought to the table Id asked for a togo cup since I was drinking water and lemon. He'd quickly asked can I bring you fresh water, and I said sure. Once he brought me a cup I guess he went to his manager and told her to watch me like a hawk. She walked the back of the restaurant and stayed posted close to the kitchen but her eyes remained on us. Again we didnt ask for our check, we wasn't in a rush to leave. Not yet. But once we noticed that they had became superstitious or "guessing" "stereotyping" us, we decided to be the responsible adults and see how the situation plays out. We of course stayed and finished our drinks, got up to leave and where the manager had been standing (we both caught Kristian) turning her head to the table to see if we took the to go cup they'd hope we put our drink in. As leaving I ask one of the wait staff for the managers name and she yells to the girl not to give her name out. By the time the entire restaurant is trying to figure out what's going on. Because Kristian came to our table rude and yelling at us. Julian and Kristian I hope that you all deliver better customer service and never stereotype anyone else. We was never ready to leave. Maybe we will visit again. Until you get a 1...
