f you’ve never had the pleasure of being served by Morgan at Salsa’s Bar & Grill off Bobby Jones in Augusta — stop what you’re doing, get in your car, and GO. This woman isn’t just a server — she is the definition of hospitality, charisma, and efficiency wrapped into one vibrant, powerhouse human being. From the moment we walked in, Morgan treated us like royalty with the kind of attention to detail that makes you feel like the most important table in the room — even if the restaurant is packed. Her timing? Flawless. Her recommendations? Life-changing. Her energy? UNMATCHED. It’s like she’s running on sunshine and good vibes, and somehow still anticipates your needs before you even realize you have them. We’ve been to countless restaurants, both locally and internationally — and Morgan, without question, ranks among the top-tier professionals in the service industry. She’s not just doing a job — she’s creating an experience. And that kind of talent shouldn’t just be appreciated — it should be rewarded. If there’s a promotion up for grabs, Morgan deserves it. If there’s a partnership opportunity on the table, give her that 5% ownership — because she is the reason people will come back, bring friends, and rave about Salsa’s to everyone they know. She elevates the entire brand. Trust me: Morgan isn’t just good. She’s legendary.

The quality of this place has varied over the years. They used to be really great years ago, and I would have had no issues recommeding them back then. Nowadays, they've changed the menu several times, and have also steadily increased the prices of several items (I suppose in response to offering a larger set of menu options) while reducing the amount of food you get. Nowadays, they're pretty ok and if you get a good waiter they will try their best to get you everything you ask for. The food menus can be a little hit or miss, but you'll probably find something you like. This visit we had carne con salsa, an enchilada, an order of ceviche, an order of guacamole sauce and some elotes. The ceviche was plentiful but probably a bit too covered in lemon juice. The elote and the guacamole were both kind of bland but when we asked the waiter for more chili powder they were happy to oblige. The carne con salsa was pretty decent (I had it with chicken), and the enchilada was well prepared. We'd come again, but just be aware some of the items may not be 100% to your liking so be sure to ask for an exchange if it's not to your liking.

I had a great time!! Looked up a place for margaritas and the food reviews led me here. I enjoyed the BarriaQuesadillas and a trio taco salad for my friend. I had the margarita sampler (mango, peach, pear, and blueberry) and a full “pear” flavored one. I can’t remember what’s it called haha. The food was delivered quickly and it was soooo delicious. I went around 8 and they close at 930 so expected closing time behavior and quality to be honest. I was seated immediately and my friend was late. The waitress was patient and she offered good suggestions. Pleasantries from everyone. People came after me and it seemed to not even bother them it is was a large party. I sat outside, it wasn’t even noisy from the traffic and music was good. I had a great time and look forward to meeting up with more friends.

For a “family” owned business during the hard times that everyone is going through my family’s experience today with this restaurant was nothing but horrible! They DO NOT care about customer service or making things better and evidently make enough money for their small business to not worry about losing customers. I called at 11:30 this morning to place my order for Cinco de Mayo for pickup for 6:00 this evening. This was a $100 order and was told to call back 30-45 minutes before 6:00 to place my order and pay. I was told it would not be too busy cause it doesn’t take that long to prepare. I did just as I was told and called at 5:10 and was told there was a 3 hour wait. I explained my issue and how that was not told to me. The girl could have cared less if what I had to say so I asked to speak with the manger or owner. A guy gets on the phone and within seconds he doesn’t want to hear me out so he tells me to hold on. Another girl gets on the phone and when I tell her I was talking to the manager she informs me there is no manager or owner even there (so they lied). She didn’t care about anything g and told me there was 100 people in front of me waiting on orders and it would be 3 hours as well. Then she proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t find out who gave me my info this morning cause she had 7 females working that shift. At that point she rudely says I can put your order in now instead of you going back and forth with me and you may only have to wait an hour and a half at which I said so I can be there at 7:00 (it was 5:30 at this point) and my order will be ready and she said I can’t guarantee it. So you want me to drive 2 minutes to your restaurant and you still can’t guarantee a time? I told her I would go to Facebook with this and she had the nerve to say “ok”! So all my family at home waiting for this food and we got stuck with pizza from Papa Johns! I will never support this small family owned business nor recommend and I will definitely try to change all the minds to...

Catty waitress with a horrible attitude, Mariely. I usually don’t take time to leave a review however this was the worst & rudest service I have ever received. I come to Salsa’s maybe 3 times a month. My sister & I came in this Monday which was pretty slow at 4 pm. We started off with margaritas. We had the dreadful experience of having Mariely as our waitress. My sister & I are very polite. So, we were pretty shocked with the service we received. We sat behind another table Mariely had in which she went over several times to assist the customers however from some reason this is not the same service we received. When asking Mariely for a suggestion for a shrimp burrito she was very short & a little nasty with her arms folded. She in no way acted as if she wanted to assist us. I noticed it but did not say anything to my sister, and my sister was like “Wow she has a nasty chip on her shoulder.” I am a 20% or more tipper so even if a waitress/server does a half decent job I still tip well. We would have liked to order MORE DRINKS but Mariely never came back to our table. We also got NO REFILLS on paid beverages. Our food came out around 4:40pm. SHE NEVER CAME BACK. She never asked if our food was okay, if we wanted MORE MAGARITAS, did we need anything, SHE NEVER CAME BACK.

I had a problem with my order and I was so thankful for Naomi. I told her we did not like the service we received and she informed us the our server had left at 5pm because she was off however we saw Mariely 5 minutes later standing around talking & having fun with the other waitress right in front of us. It was obvious she did not want to wait on our table. I immediately asked for a manager in which they informed me that manager was not there. If you have a problem serving other women become an entrepreneur so you can service...

EDIT 2: la única razón que continuamos a comer aquí es que la comida está excelente. Today I had the Carne Asada plate (phenomenal for Augusta) and my companion had the carnitas tacos (good as always.) Jordan was the bartender. He was great. However, it still took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our presence. Jordan arrived after doing midshift bar duties (since he doesn't have a bar back) but the rest of the staff was busy playing on their phone or talking to acknowledge us and other guests. Once Jordan arrived, service was fast and smooth...a replay of Oscar. PS where is Oscar?

Recommendations: close between lunch and dinner service to allow staff to reset and break. Hire a bar back. Increase service support staff. Ensure the hostess/hosts have adequate shift rotations.

EDIT: The ONLY reasons I continue to come here is because of Oscar (best waiter ever) and the kitchen staff. The kitchen turns out some of the best Mexican food this side of the Mississippi. And Oscar always makes us feel welcome and tends to us diligently without being overbearing. The REST of the staff, especially at the bar, completely ignore you. Photo proof. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar for 20minutes and she said nothing to us while standing a mere 2 feet away. Oscar came from the other side of the restaurant to tend to us. We're regulars, but if he's not working werew not coming. Do better.

eexican food in Augusta. Brunch was great, the breakfast tacos reminded me of Houston. The black beans and rice = yum. If you're in the mood for a TexMex fix, then Salsa's is your spot. They have aguas frescas and the Mayan Mango margarita is banging. I strongly suggest Sunday brunch and get the...
