Firehouse Subs Martinez — Restaurant in Georgia

I’ve come to this firehouse for lunch weekly for about 6 years. It used to always be clean, most of the employees knew me by name, some even by order but over the last year or so it has gone really downhill. Twice now I’ve bought a drink with my meal only to be told after there is no ice... Wish I would have known that before I paid to drink warm sweet tea. Once I bought a drink and there was no soda available, the carbonation was out. Again, would have been nice to know. The sandwiches are pretty inconsistent, sometimes they’re perfect, (the reason I keep coming back) other times there is hardly any mayonnaise, a tomato that really should have been thrown in the trash, or mustard when I specifically asked for no mustard. But the last straw that made me write this review today was I ordered a combo and paid as usual only to be handed a large cup instead of the standard medium. I look around and realize everyone has large cups. They are just automatically up charging to large without even asking? That’s not right. I should have been paying more attention, but after coming for years it’s so routine I didn’t even notice I paid more until after I got this ridiculously large cup. I was on my lunch break and am not gonna hold up a line for 30 cents, but I’m just sick of the service slipping and now I feel like they’re trying to take advantage of people by not even asking what size drinks. Food is awesome.The service sucks Ordered my food online. Went to pick it up they told me I was in the wrong place then after a couple of minutes they said it would be just a minute they was finishing. So I sit down sit there for 15 minutes got up and ask about my food and they did not know nothing about it. Look yall Common sense is not common sense no more. This is what we got to look forward to to run our country. We are all in trouble these kids of to day can't even keep focus and run a fast food business and keep track of what they're doing much less run our country for us.
