I visited the Norcross location today to pick up a "Too Good To Go" order. This is my third time doing this, but this time was the worst. I went inside to pick up and I only opened the box to see if a sprinkle one was there, because I was willing to buy one if there wasn't and there was one minute before closing. When I opened the box, I saw there was a bacon donut. In the past, when I picked up, I asked the staff if there is meat inside and they kindly said no. This time, I asked if I could switch out the bacon one and she said no, even though there were plenty of doughnuts on display. She said you get whatever is in the box. I said ok, I forgot to ask this time if there was meat like I usually do. She repeated this is what you get. I understood and explained I don't eat bacon that's why I usually ask if there is any meat. She said "That is your problem". In my entire life of letting food vendors know I have this dietary restriction, I have never heard anyone respond to me in such an incredibly rude way. I recommend this business properly educate its staff on how to interact with ALL types of people. Maybe she was discriminatory because I was clearly Muslim. Whatever the reason, the response was completely unacceptable. As a minority, it's truly disheartening to support a minority small business and be treated so disrespectfully. I won't be recommending anyone to visit any of...
Read moreWe went at 10:30 am on a Saturday. They were out of the waffle donut, which we definitely wouldâve tried. Tip: go earlier. However, we were still impressed with how much they had left, considering they had already been open for 5 hours.
We got 6 donuts. They were pretty average. Hereâs what we got, in order of preference: Sunflower (basically a cinnamon bun) ($2.49), Croissant Donut ($3.99), Cinnamon Sugar ($0.99), Cookie Monster ($1.79), Red Velvet ($1.39), Raspberry-Filled Donut ($1.39).
The Red Velvet didnât taste like Red Velvetâit tasted like a regular donut that just happened to be red. The raspberry filling was so artificial and gross. Would not recommend.
We got a small and large iced coffee. They were both super, super sweet. Tip: get the iced coffee black and add your own sweetener and cream at the counter.
The employees were helpful and very patient as we made our decision. They were all wearing masks.
Weâve read that they have the best donuts in the state. Maybe our expectations were too high, but we were disappointed. I think there are better donut places in...
Read moreWhen you move to a new state, there are certain things you have to find that are as good if not better than what you had in your previous hometown and for me one of them is a really good donut spot!
Today I went to Sarah Donuts on Jimmy Carter Blvd after hearing great things from a friend. Being a fat girl at heart, I had to make me a sampler box so I can experience many flavors. I got a dozen box that featured: sour cream, red velvet, chocolate glaze, original glaze, glazed cake, cinnamon sugar, blueberry, and two different jelly filled.
Customer service was great and they were very patient as it was my first time visiting. Next time I will come earlier so I can have more to choose from but I couldnât help it and had to try one before I left the parking lot and ate another along my way home. They are so fresh tasting, soft and pillowy, just the right amount of sweetness. They know what theyâre doing for sure! They also have plenty of drinks to wash it down with. So grab you one, theyâre open Monday-Saturday 5:30-2pm, closed on Sundayâs. I know Iâll...
