The Juicy Crawfish — Restaurant in Norcross

I went to this restaurant on Sunday 3-23-2025... I had dinner and I ordered the wings and some broccoli. This is what I usually order and have been doing so for the last 2 years and I went to eat there today for dinner and was told that I could not eat at this restaurant on the inside anymore and that I could only get orders to go because they said that I was recording them on Sunday when I had dinner. I was not recording them on any devices that I had I was actually working on my laptop computer. And I was watching church as well as scanning YouTube for videos that I wanted to watch having some relaxation time. The cashier changed over in October or November of 2024 and she has been extremely nasty to me ever since she's been there as well as the staff. The changes that have occurred have brought bad staff with nasty attitudes and clearly liars. They lied on me and said that I was recording and that I could not eat in there establishment anymore. First of all you have no signs up that say that people can not record and people record their food all the time even though I was not recording anything. It's a known fact on social media that people record their food to show off on social media however that is not what I was doing on my last visit there. I went there on Sunday to have a sit-down meal and have some relaxation time. Again I have the patronize and this restaurant on many occasions since 2023. However the way that I was treated today I will never ever patronize this restaurant or any of his chains again. The staff are young and nasty and even the black girl that serves me on Sunday had a nasty attitude even though I tipped her at the end. I should not have tipped her at all because she had a nasty attitude all while she was serving me and I knew it was going to be a problem with her when she first came to my table. Secondly when I go in there now they take all day to even greet me and seek me and so I'm no longer giving my money for bad service. If you live in the Norcross Georgia area do not absolutely under no circumstances should you go and patronize this restaurant because they have nasty attitudes and they do not appreciate their customers and they lie on them. This is how I get treated after 2 years of faithful patronism of this restaurant. I was lied on and refused service for no reason. I've never given them a problem and I don't understand why all of a sudden you're lying on me as if you don't want me there. So since you don't want me there don't worry about me ever coming there and I'm going to tell everybody that I know all over Atlanta do not pay United this restaurant.. We first came in and we had to wait 20 mins for a place to seat. It wasn't the wait it was seeing half the establishment empty. However when the manager came and explained majority of the people walk in at the same time and they were wanting the kitchen staff to catch up, it made since. Our server was out of it or something. She was horrible and even when she introduced herself she said her name wrote it on the table and said hold on and walked away. There was no excitement, no eagerness not even a fake smile. Very bland engagement. She didn't refill any of our drinks the manager did when he was checking in with the crowd. It is what it is however when we found out they counted our 5 month old as our 8th person so gratuity was included that was irritating since her service was no where near the tip that was already in the bill. The food was ok, I was expecting more flavor with the cajun seasoning but hardly tasted anything. Wings were perfect. Atmosphere and cleanliness great. They provided crayons so the kids could color on the table so we played hang man and tic tac toe to pass the time. When it was time for me to change the baby there was not a place to change the baby. They do not have changing tables in the rest rooms. That was the most irritating thing out of it all. My husband said his first experience here was great however this one I quote "service was horrible, was it just me or did she really suck!" We love great customer service and although my first experience wasn't the best I will try again. Maybe it was the way we dressed that made her treat us the way we did but we tip very well when we go out. We normally dress better however we just wore our tattered clothes because it's been a long weekend and we all are exhausted. I hope to try again soon. We normally go to juicy crab in conyers great food and we've always had amazing service there, but if we could make this venue work that would be perfect! I'll update...

O...M...G!!! No words in my vocabulary can quite capture the level of satisfaction... let me restate that... the amazement of everything my experience here had to offer. I've lived in the Pacific Northwest and thus have enjoyed some of the freshest and highest quality seafood imaginable. I've live in Southeast Texas therefore have been treated to the pleasures of some of the finest Cajun cooking one could hope to seek out. While on a weekend trip to Atlanta my daughter suggested The Juicy Crawfish after a long day of driving and activities. What sealed the deal was a picture of a seafood boil that I was absolutely positive could never hope to challenge those of the venerable Crab Pot in Seattle. If you've ever been to The Crab Pot you know what I mean. I've been humbled... I judged too quickly... book by the cover doesn't cover it. Calling this boil good is like calling the Grand Canyon a good size gully. Equally impressive is the delight that the staff and atmosphere lend to the experience. The place is really cool. All over the walls are messages and signatures of people who no doubt were proud to leave their mark on this gem for all posterity to marvel at. Its very clean, bright, and inviting. The staff is absolutely top notch. Everyone was very friendly and kind and obviously enjoy what they do. I could not possibly say how strongly I recommend anyone venturing remotely near Atlanta make the trip to The Juicy Crawfish and see what I'm talking about. Its definitely one of those places that should be visited by any and every show like Diners...
