Hibachi Express & Wing House — Restaurant in Norcross

Hibachi Norcross is not your average lunch wing spot. You can tell by the diversity of the returning clientele that Hibachi Norcross has Universally tasty food. I usually stop by during the lunch rush. The owner always greets me with a smile, knows my name AND my order, and the chefs get the food out hot 🔥 and fast! My job is down the road and on any given lunch break of the week somebody is hauling something that is smelling good from Hibachi. I like the Hibachi Steak bowl or Salmon with fried rice or steamed- vegetables are always fresh- but I have also tried the Philly (great flavor, not oily) and the fried fish. I have heard the wings are good too from a coworker, but haven't tried them yet.

This place is consistent, which is great for me- I like to know what I'm getting. It's also family owned, and they take pride in the food that they are serving up. Whether you're having a meeting with your business client, or you've been working out in the cold all morning with your construction crew, try this place, they have something for everyone! Tip- call ahead around lunch, and you'll save time- this place gets solid business between 11:30-12:30 weekdays.

The owner takes his time to get to know you by name and your order which is impressive considering how many folks come in here. I'll literally never come back here 🙄. I was told my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. It LITERALLY took 38 minutes from the time I swiped my card to the time I received my order. IT WASNT EVEN BUSY!! The two guys behind the counter were back there just having a grand ol chat while I waited for almost 40 minutes. I ordered one steak/chicken hibachi, one chicken hibachi, and an order of funnel fries. On top of the ridiculous wait, the funnel fries are burnt as hell. And then in my hibachi meal I have random burnt pieces from the fried rice. I made it all the way home and I'm not going back up there I just got off work and I'm exhausted and pissed. It's sad. I have eaten here recently... just wanting something I used to eat that was good. I wish I had looked at the reviews instead of going off of my old memories. It's clear this place has been sold since last it was tasty to me. The new ownership and cooks can not keep up. I recently started making my own yum yum sauce, i have always made salmon with teriyaki that slapped. I'll be cooking for myself when it comes to wanting "habatchi" style salmon veggies and steam rice.
