Wow!!! Viva la Mexicana or whatever would be appropriate because YEAAAHHHAWWWW! doesn't come across in text, at least not in context.
The salsa is unique, reminds me of the chili from my Guatemalan friends, home-made, not all heat with more flavor, it's nice. Fresh light corn chips, no old oil or burnt taste.
I had the Mexican style chicken soup, omgoodness! I love these style of soups; this was is not like the others, it's better. There is a heat to the pallet but it's not early or hard, I consumed it quickly, noting the light hint of a crema and the light heat hit of fresh jalapeno. I won't post here how I think they combined the heat as a layer up on the soup seasoning, you must come and figure it out for yourself. I know I will be back.
Now I do drink water, but it's Friday, so I asked my attentive professional Carolina to fix me a 24oz fresh skinny Texas and to use what she wanted (She picked 3 top shelf prems). Let's see, no sweetener(sugar is a narcotic for me), but it was not over tart, in fact I do like tart, but this level was perfect, didn't really taste lots of Tequilas, but was drinking from a straw. When the first wave came, I looked down and had half left. Thank you, Carolina!
Ok, let's drink the water now... Lol! It's a $30 Fresh Margarita for $12.50, don't walk......

I’m super disappointed with this restaurant . My family of 5 used to come here every other week for the past 4 years. It’s been months since we’ve eaten here. At first, they up-charged all the prices on the food . I can understand that. However, last night my partner and I ordered $53ish worth of food TO GO. When I picked up, I was told the price was $63.8. I was really confused but paid because I was so exhausted.
When I looked at the receipt. I was charged 5% for TO GO order which was around $2.70 , THEN i was charge TAX which was around $3.5. The total was around $59.8 . THEN, when I paid with card, I was charged another $3 which put me ay $63.8 . LITERALLY $10 extra.
NO ONE TOLD ME OF THESE CHARGES UNTIL AFTER I SAW THE RECEIPT AT HOME. NOT ON THE PHONE WHEN I ORDERED OR WHEN I PAID AT THE FRONT.
My fault for not realizing the RED FLAG when they were empty on a Friday night. It used to be the spot. DONT COME!
PS. check your margarita pitches because they scam people with putting MORE ice than margarita in the pitcher. Our 64 oz was barely 50 oz and WE DID SPEAK TO THE OWNER ABOUT THIS. When he came back with extra, the owner made a petty remark “ here’s the remaining of the 18 oz “. Like SIR, that’s...
Read moreAfter a long day at work, I was looking forward to unwinding and enjoying a good meal at Solecito Lindo Mexican Restaurant in Kennesaw. However, my experience was far from the relaxing evening I had anticipated.
Upon seating myself at the bar, I noticed a peculiar and uncomfortable pattern; it appeared that complimentary chips were being served selectively, with white patrons receiving them while Hispanic customers, including myself, were overlooked. This disparity in service not only made me feel unwelcome but also cast a shadow over the entire dining experience.
Hoping to distract myself with a delicious meal, I ordered the churrasco, a dish I usually enjoy for its rich flavors and tenderness. Unfortunately, the dish served to me was excessively salty, to the point where it was difficult to enjoy any of the flavors that should have made this meal special.
Overall, my visit to Solecito Lindo was marked by an atmosphere of exclusion and food that was mediocre at best. The apparent unequal treatment based on ethnicity and the disappointing quality of the cuisine left me feeling both hungry and disheartened. It's disconcerting to encounter such experiences in this day and age, especially when all one seeks is a...
