Unfortunately, I have to deal with this store because the Cobb Pkwy location can't cross the train tracks even though it's 2 miles closer for delivery. This is the 3rd time my order took 20+ minutes longer than the projection range. Assuming they're always getting lost why they're always late, I specifically wrote in the delivery notes "please call, so you don't get lost". Just over 10 mintues after the longest projected time (28-48 mins) I called the store and Megan said he had left 15 minutes ago and should be there any minute, so I waited. 15 minutes later I called again and Megan put me on with the "manager". He said he had spoken to the driver but had no explanation on how it's taking 30 minutes to deliver about 3 miles away. I told him at this point I didn't want a pizza that had not been in a temperature controlled space for 30 mins. He tried to say the thermal bag was temperature controlled! I didn't feel like I should have to explain to a grown man temperature controlled means you can control the temperature! While on the phone the driver arrived at my door (no call as instructed until he got to my door) which I could see from my surveillance. I asked the manager to remake the order as I did not want what had arrived. I waited for the manager to call the driver but nothing, so I called him back myself so he didn't stand out in the cold. Miraculously, a new pizza arrived within 25 minutes, but my cookie was missing, so I called yet again. The manager then tried to argue with me and said I rejected the cookie with the pizza as if I wouldn't have wanted them to remake both! He said he couldn't refund me blah blah blah and honestly I didn't want them making my food at this point. I called the Cobb store and explained what happened they made me a cookie that I simply had to pick up (3 mins away). Note to management: don't try to argue with hungry people especially when your store is...
Read moreReally rude manager. Don't usually leave these kind of reviews...Seemed upset that I even wanted to order after she told me there would be a 50-60 minute wait on delivery. Driver was friendly, pizza was fine (aside from one of them not being light sauce like i asked and both having relatively scant ingredients). Interaction was garbage, though.
As the owner of a business that operates strongly on a customer service precedent, I can assure you aren’t helping your team out any by having such a poor attitude. You may be content (or discontent) with what you’re making, and you may not stand to benefit directly from tips (often achieved through outstanding customer service and providing an overall positive experience), but I assure you your drivers feel differently.
Also, I feel it important to note, I understand what it’s like to be exhausted and overworked, and to deal with tough customers who can sometimes (regrettably) affect your overall mood, but it’s important to show that you care and or are at least trying to care, both to be respectful and helpful. That means a lot to people.
edit 4/13/20 I actually decided to edit my previous post (from a 3*) because I had such a great experience this past time. (Literally the only delivery place open near me). I believe the manager's name was Drew. Very friendly, professional attitude. Pizzas were...
Read moreNever order anything online and forget to add garlic sauce, just learned that there unable to add anything to your order after the fact which is by far the most ridiculousous thing ever. Placed an online or for 2 thin crust pizza and paid and not even 2 minutes later, I call the store and ask them to add a 70cent garlic dipping sauce to my order, the manager tells me she is unable to add the sauce because it will change the entire price of the order and I would no longer be able to receive the online promotion price. So I asked if they can allow me to pay cash for the garlic sauce again which is 70 cent, she tells me no.. What the hell.. I don't understand why not. I paid online with my credit card, there coming to delivery the pizza and receive cash for the delivery but won't accept 70 cent to bring me my garlic dipping sauce. I will never order papa johns again. I would of paid $5.00 for the dipping sauce just bring me the Damn sauce but nooooooo there stupied system won't allow them ,what the...
