Horrible management and restaurant!! I placed an online order for a few sandwiches. Upon entering the restaurant and going to the pickup location I was greeted with “oh you ordered online it’s gonna be a while.” I proceeded to wait about 15 minutes and then the “owner” asked “ what time is ready time on his order?” Employee said 1:55 and owner asks what time is it now and employee states “1:52” owner says well it’s not 1:55 do not start his sandwiches yet. Meanwhile employee hands me a cup and asks me to “fill this with water for me please.” Another customer asks cashier a question and owner says “ you’re gonna have to wait a minute she’s new, she cannot answer any of your questions” I then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes and simply asked “Are you going to start making my order or can I just cancel?” This woman proceeded to tell me to “apply for a job and make the order yourself!” I said no thanks I have a job and she proceeds to tell me she “makes more money than me and she is the owner” I then asked for them to completely cancel my order to which she tells employee to do so and then says “you know what I want to cancel his order myself.” She comes to register and proceeds to tell me I have ordered from her before and “ know how busy this location is.” She then told me to never order from her store ever again. Don’t worry that won’t be a problem. I went to Publix next door and got a better sandwich for less money. I see several reviews on how they were treated by this same woman. Read moreWOW... Subway is really going down hill... I have eaten at Subway once, almost bi-weekly for lunch over the past 30 years. Now it seems Subway has a policy of Screw the people that made your founders a billionaire and your GA Director worth millions and this multi unit Franchisee with cutting back yet again on the meat, or maybe it has always been that way and I was blinded. Here's a idea, put how many ounces or grams of meat and cheese on the menu board like some of your competitors, then customers know what they are purchasing!
My mother was nice enough to purchase Subway this evening for a quick bite and conversation as everyone seems to be on the go these days... I always order a Italian BMT 12" or MeatBall... Tonight the Italian BMT... Received old brown wilted lettuce, flavorless tomato as usual, and as another Fast Food Chain would say... "Where's the Meat"... changed one word but you get the idea!
Seems these days Subway has cut back on the oz./grams per sandwich to paper thin slices of meat; really paper thin, it was a joke in our household tonight looking at these sandwiches... Oh BTW you can upgrade to double meat for extra $$$, but that would get you back to where you were originally in the most recent past... Guess this will be the last time for me at any Subway... after 30+ years... to many other options for me to...
Read morePlaced an order online for 6 foot long sandwiches for kids after game. There was 2 meat ball, 2 Italian, 1 tuna and 1 Turkey. While picking up sandwiches there was a skinny older lady wearing black and red top which I assumed was a supervisor since it was Sunday afternoon. She was annoyed by the order since 6 sandwiches were ordered.
My first interaction with her was super negative but it only went from negative to worst. She started questioning why it was 6 sandwich order I advised her that I have a team of hungry kids and they can’t wait. She then started to throw a fit and started to throw sandwiches on the counter. I asked her not to throw sandwiches around and if she is annoyed I apologize for placing big order to deescalate situation. She then mumbled something, was cursing and stated that customers with multiple sandwiches should not be able to place order for 3 or more sandwiches. I advised her that all I want is my food. She became more annoyed and I did not engage at this point.
She was so busy being so disgruntled that she confused the order and made me the wrong sandwiches. While I understand everyone can have a bad day I expect to be treated with respect especially in front of other customers not to mention kids.
