Horrible experience tonight. Should've known as soon as the waitress walked up w/ no smile, no greeting and unfriendly. She acted as if we were bothering her. We ordered quickly. She brought out our food. It was me, my husband, my son and his gf. I sat across from my son closest to the wall in the dining room section. The waitress handed over my son's plate(hamburger and mac n cheese in a ceramic bowl)my son grabs it, and she didn't let it go.. it then caught the straw of the big red glass of coke and knocked it over. The entire cup of soda ran right towards my son, onto his shirt, pants, down his legs and into his Vans 80.00 sneakers. NO APOLOOGY from her.. nothing. She just said let me go get you a towel.. which was useless. we moved tables.. she then gave us our food.. handing mine and my sons to us because she couldn't reach our sides of the table from where she was standing. No new drinks on the table yet so I wasn't worried. My son lifts up his burger and the bottom bun is cut in half. We show the waitress, she grabs the plate, brings it back into the kitchen, beings it back out. no apology.. my son is so uncomfortable right now he lost his appetite.. There was so much soda in his shoes they made squishy sounds. We asked to see the manager.. WOW.. that's all I have to say.. as a fellow business owner who deals with customers on a daily basis, these 2 clearly need different jobs. We explained what happened.. his response" The waitress told me what happened, and she basically blamed my son.." He said i can give you a free desert.. Well, that set me off. I simply told him my son was visiting from OK, and he only had 1 pair of shoes.. that are no drenched. his response" well ma'am its not like i can wash them for you".. white cloth 80.00 Vans mind you.. Like what manager says that? No, I'm sorry... nothing. we told him between her attitude from the start and her playing tug o war with my sons plate because she wouldn't let it go (saw with my own 2 eyes) we just wanted the check. and that was it.. we rushed home so I could wash all his soaked stained clothes and sneakers.. his shoes didn't dry til the next day. What an awful experience.. They need some training here. I will simply go to another restaurant...
Read moreI have never been here and understand it’s been here many many years. Must’ve driven by 100 times. An old friend of mine from high school who I haven’t seen since high school recommended and we met here for lunch.
The menu looks really incredible, lots of great things you would not expect to find in a pub, little extra stuff like American Kobe beef burgers. I love the idea of standard menu burgers but the option to dress your own, very extensive add on options, many things you would not think of to put on a burger.
I had the American Kobe beef with lettuce tomato onions, American cheese and pickles. Lots of extra pickles, love that. Flavor was great, cooked great and my side salad was really really good, love the homemade croutons. What a great burger place. I understand they also make really great wings didn’t try them but I heard from others.
The service was wonderful attentive and on the spot constantly checking in on us. No complaints.
The place is big big open area big bar outside seating as well. Lots of open parking huge parking lot. Handicap accessible lots of space to get around really clean nice sports bar tavern.
Why not five stars? The seating arrangements ! Two guys hanging out for an afternoon catching up, there’s lots of open seeing after 1:00 PM and they put a family with three kids next to us with a baby who screamed and yelled.
@hostess: look around when you’re a hostess and don’t put a 2 month old baby with two other young children - family next to a bunch of old dudes hanging out. We left early because it was getting on our nerves.
I have kids so I’ve been there. And yes the father or mother should’ve taken that screaming baby out to be considerate of everyone else. But of course not everybody does that. Always seat families together and adults - no kids - separately.
Will I go back? Absolutely! This is a really cool tavern bar. Again, I just had the hamburger today with a side salad but I wanna go back and try...
Read moreWe arrived at 8:25pm. There were no guests at the bar and only 3 or 4 tables with guests. I sat at the bar to order a couple of drinks and watched the bartender/manager Chris wash down the draft beer reservoirs for about 5 minutes. He never looked up at his bar. Finally one of the waiters walked by and asked if I had been helped. When I replied NO, he asked what I wanted to drink, then went behind the bar. I thought he would tell the bartender what we ordered. Then bartender /manager Chris walked up and asked what I ordered. I repeated my order (1 Sierra Nevada draft beer and a margarita for my girl). Chris comes back with the margarita and asked me a third time what I wanted to drink. Poor memory for a bartender. We sat outside. My fiance ordered the garlic burger (very good) and I ordered the shrimp/chicken rice bowl (also very good). The food came out on time and well prepared. The problem I had was when Chris came outside and unplugged the lights and turned off the tv's. I asked if he could turn the lights back on and he simply said "We're closing soon." The waiter came out a few minutes later and I asked him what time they closed. He said 10pm. It was 9:05pm! He plugged the lights back in so we could see to finish out meal. She got a to go container and I asked for the check. Chris came back outside and unplugged the lights again! I tried to get his attention, but he ignored me and returned inside. I had to use my flashlight on my phone to sign the check! Chris needs to work on his attitude and customer service skills. Also, I sat in a broken metal chair. The seat and back of the chair had exposed sharp, broken metal that poses a serious risk. I had to get another chair. The food was good. Chris the bartender was rude, and disrespectful. Who turns off the lights and turns off the tv while guests are still eating when you're supposed to be open for...
