Mediocre service and portions for the price, no reason to go back.
It was early Sunday evening, the restaurant was not very busy and we sat outside because the AC was really cranking inside. That turned out to be a bad choice, apparently we were never assigned a server so we were completely ignored for at least 10 minutes. Just as I was getting up to find help a server from another table noticed and said she would help us. She mostly did, until she didn't anymore, very frustrating.
So we finally got some water and menus, as I browsed I noted the choices seemed limited as compared to other Mexican restaurants, and the prices seemed higher.
I settled on fajitas, a single portion was priced pretty close to what others charge for fajitas for two (shared), so I was certainly expecting a generous helping... umm, nope. What I got was a smallish plate nested into a large cutting board, with a shot glass of sour cream, pico, and guac... only a tiny shot glass, wow! Most places bring a nice side plate with lettuce and a big scoop or two of each. In all fairness since the fajitas portion was lacking I guess they felt no need to offer more of the sides? Anyway the stupid cutting board is huge and clearly just a ploy to make it seem like you get something more for the price. Really it just annoyed me because it's so big and is just empty wasted space blocking up the table.
The food was delicious, and served sizzling fast by a very nice and happy man, I wish I had tipped him directly because he's the only guy that actually deserved it.
Eventually a different server walked by and started helping after making some excuse for the first waitress, which again was only helping us out since our table never had one assigned (her explanation).
So all in all I did get a tasty meal, but also a large check, I think it was a bad value though made worse with bad service. There are a great many Mexican restaurants to choose from so I'll just scratch this one off the list, there was nothing special to justify the higher cost, and the menu is quite limited anyway.
TLDR; spend your...
Read more06/12/25: Cumming GA. Brittany, our waitress, was excellent. After that things spiraled down. We asked Brittany to request the on duty manager grill us 4 pieces of Cod fish with Butter, Lemon, and No Salt. Brittany came back and advised that the manager said they do not have Cod in this unit. Consistency? No. The mod had offered to grill some bos fish, which is not a clean fish, and of course, tilapia is also not a clean fish. I ate part of my cup of cabbage and pushed it back because it was more raw than cooked. My wife did the same. I went to the salad bar and was going to start with spinach and mixed greens, but the person that washed the spinach apparently did not spin any of the water out of the spinach. The water was all over the cold bar, and the spinach was soaked. I walked away. OK. Hamburger Patty and Cooked Onions. There was 1/2 a patty on the bar and 1/2 ladle of onions and very greasy. So much I was able to take a picture of the floating grease for Google Drive. Look at the pictures on Google Drive showing the Grease. The soft mushy fries were cold. The two livers were actually not overcooked. The chicken was greasy, and I passed. No lemon meringue or coconut cream pie. Aside from the two livers, I pushed the plate back and left hungry. Very sorry management on duty. In the hour we were there, I did not see one manager walking the hot bar and cold barbto make sure everything was as it should be. Not onetime. Management should Always be on the floor monitoring the food a thatbthe pans ate full. The spinachbshould have been pulled, tossed, and replaced. Not one manager. Brittany could not help any of this, so she received a fair tip. Not recommended. Yes. I will be posting on...
