For some strange reason, Los Rios is constantly busy! I have been to the competition in the area, and for most of the time, the places are dead!
One place in particular have staff later learned to be all in the family have no smiles, no warmth, no passion for their restaurant. Well, I guess for those places, it's their loss. However, when I turn my focus to Los Rios, there is the same setup. Family, food, fun, flavor, flaming-hot food!
Be greeted by the hostesses! The youngers of the family getting g ready to enter middleschool full of life, vitality, excitement when greeting you, laughing at the introductions, then they place you at a clean table waiting for you and your party to turn the entire table into just that; a party!
Then be greeted by your wait staff, in my case a polite gentleman welcoming you to the menu which he expertly guides you through with no pressure for the first order. He get your drinks, answer any questions and hide you to the best offerings for your party.
The college student, in my case a young lady drops off the adult joy beverages, smiles and ensures all is to your standard.
Entrees in the fire, expoed out and brought to your table with. Other gentleman ensuring the plates are made and placed right.
Enjoy! Viva la sabor! The family that works here is a true team. I feel that their energy is drawn from the positive energy of the guests. I have never encountered a sullen dining hall. Those are the description of the competition restaurants. By all means, all goes well at the rivers, and you just want to come back for more!
I do need to visit a few more times before I can comment fully on the food, but still, beyond my first impression, I feel the few other plates I will order in the future will...
Read moreI went to this restaurant yesterday night and had the worst service ever, first of all the waiter had an attitude from the beginning and kept on rolling his eyes when I asked him something. I orderd some tacos for my 3 kids and he got 2 of the orders wrong when I told him about it he rolled his eyes aad said he would bring me the right ones and he never did, when every one was done with their food I told him about the tacos and he said that he would bring them again but I told him that I didn't want them anymore because everyone else was already done and we where getting ready to leave so he said that I wouldn't be charged for the tacos that my kids never ate, also, my friend had orderd some steak and chicken fajitas and when they brought them to her she found a shrimp in them and she is allergic to shrimp! When we got to the register the lady told me my total and I realised that I was being charged for the food i never got so I told her about it and she very rudely told me to talk to the waiter that she had nothing to do with that, and when my friend told her about what happend with her order the lady at the register told her in a way of making fun of her if she wanted her to call an ambulance, To finish off I ended up paying for the food that was never brought to the table because they where so busy and there was a line behind me at the register I only give a 1 star because that is the least you can give otherwise I would give them 0 stars I will never be...
Read moreI'm not a Mexican food expert, but Los Rios in Cumming hit the spot!! I give this spot a 5 out of 5 because I have nothing I disliked or had to complain about. They are always packed and now I understand why. Their queso has good flavor, which is my main complaint with the queso at other places, always so bland. Their salsa has a good kick but it isn't too chunky. Their Quesadilla was great, although I like mine with more cheese, it had plenty of good tasting chicken and veggies, portion is not a problem at this place 😉🤤 I always try carnitas at Mexican places because that's how I judge the restaurant.... are they cooked well and with flavor? Is there a lot of fat or do they cut them out well? Are they tough or tender? These carnitas were perfect and they brought plenty of tortillas and rice to est them with 😊 Last but not least, the tacos. Just like the quesadilla, plenty of steak on there!!! They washed down pretty nicely with the salsa 🌮 The serve was nice and didn't let my glass of cranberry juice (yes.... cranberry) hit bottom!!! Definitely keeping this spot as a return to place so I can try their other items in the menu. #mexicanfood #imnotmexican #chicken #chickenquesadillas #quesasillas #queso #salsa #carnitas #steak #tacos #steaktacos #foodsofinstagram #foodie #delicioso #comidalatina #foodadventures #cumming #bigboyfood #dontjudgeme #ihadatogobox #losriosmexicanrestaurant @ Los Rios...
