Ok so...I just have to get this off my chest!! I just sat in the drive thru here for 25 minutes waiting for $3 worth of food. Two items!!!!! And when I asked for the toll free number for complaints, I was given a dilapidated excuse. Something about there only being two employees there (why are you even open???). Then, as if this was my fault somehow, I was given an attitude. So...whatever, right? I just left thinking it must be a bad day for them up there. I hope the other employees show up soon for the sake of my fellow community members who may want to live on the wild side today and have some taco bell. Then.......I get home with my food and guess what? Yep...it's wrong!! The wrap on my loaded griller was ripped in places and everything was falling out. And the other item I received was not even what I asked for. (Ok...so that part I'm used to.) However, I was starving and had to wait for almost half an hour to receive these 2 non edible items that looked horrid! (I ate them anyways...they were horrid! What?! I was starving...) So...I call them up to see if I can at least get an adequate apology. (Maybe I should mention that I'm highly addicted to the shredded chicken mini quesadillas...I'm there A LOT!!) The same lady answered the phone. (Lucky me!!!) I commence to telling her how I was the one sitting in line for 25 minutes and, of course she knew who I was right away. I then inform her that my food was incorrect. Now, yes...I was upset and I'm sure there was tension in my voice. But I still have not gotten loud up to this point. She told me just to come right back and she would remake my food. I said I can't do that right now, I have things to do and already spent wayyyyy too much time with y'all today. So I suggested she take my info, and the next time I come through there we could take care of it. Logical, right? She hung up on me!!! SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! (Oh no she didn't!!?!??) So, undeterred, I call back. This time, another lady answers and takes my information right away and apologizes at least 3 times during the call. Why was that so hard for the supposed manager lady? Oh, did I forget to mention that part? Yeah...she said she was the manager. If you are going to be a manager of a fast food restaurant, maybe you should be able to put yourself in the customer's shoes more often instead of shifting your blame to them? I'm just saying...it's not my fault that your food wasn't fast or edible!!! I'm sure she was having a horrible day because some of her employees didn't show up. However, I can understand why they would leave her hanging. I'm going to forgive her this time...even though she hasn't asked for it. I'm still going to love her like Jesus...
Read moreI love Taco Bell in general, but I've had some real problems with the one on Memorial Blvd. in Waycross. I always go through the drive-thru. Usually, this is incredibly slow. It takes an inordinately long time to get someone to take my order. First they don't say anything and then they ask me to wait. Sometimes they tell me they're short-handed. I usually order the same thing: burrito supreme with extra guacamole and yes, I know I have to pay extra for it. Four times in a row now I haven't gotten the guacamole although I was charged for it. Of course I'm not too concerned about losing a quarter every time I go there, but I really like their guacamole. I even ask the cashier to make sure guacamole was put on my burrito, but he or she just stands there transfixed with a blank stare. I ask them to check with the person who made my burrito, but they don't move or speak. They just stand there waiting for me to leave. It's very odd. It's like they're low-budget robots unable to do anything outside their scope of specific training. The last time I was there I jokingly said I should get the guacamole for free since I hadn't received it on my prior 3 visits. No response. I have yet to figure out how to handle this situation other than staying where I am, opening the burrito wrapper, unrolling the burrito, finding no guacamole, & demanding to see the manager. To be honest, I'm afraid the manager will be a stupid robot, too. I don't think I'll...
Read moreI have been here on multiple occasions in recent weeks, and I cannot stress enough how PERFECT the food has been. The staff are wonderful, and so friendly. I use the kiosk to order usually, but the staff informed me if I wanted them to, could take my order at the counter with genuine sincerity. The atmosphere is wonderful. The teamwork is so evident in the speed, quality, and professionalism involved in the service.
Special shoutout to Kenyatta Johnson for making the most absolutely beautiful Grilled Cheese Burrito I've ever seen. All of my food was wrapped with so much care, it felt like I was opening a present. There is so much that could be learned from the staff here from other restaurants, as I couldn't even put this Taco Bell on the same level as any other fast food restaurants because people associate the term with lower quality food, when that is just not the case. I would come here for the rest of my life for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I knew the caloric intake and grease would put me in the ground early. It's that good, don't miss out.
