For the most part, being here has usually been very pleasant. I love the workout machines, the weights, I like the mirror on the wall where the weights are. I love bringing someone with me every time I go lol I just can't seem to be comfortable enough to enjoy it when I'm there alone. I love the tanning beds and the massage chairs are pretty neat. Just wish I could take my husband back there he would loove the chairs!! But you can't bring guests back there with you! I don't understand why not tho. I'm a black card guest my husband is the one who pays for it for me so he's the one giving them the money yet he can't even go back there at all 😒 behind those other doors is such a calm, soothing atmosphere. I recently joined the planet fitness gym. I wish I could say it wasn't a mistake but unfortunately for me it was. Last night i was a little sore from my workout, decided to take a break sitting in my car, when i returned, I was notified by a staff member that I took too long of a break, he said I over exceeded 15 minutes and it was against corporate rules? When I was taking this break I left my guest in the gym doing their workout and the staff member followed them around like a bulldog, asked him to leave. It was very embarrassing and humiliating for me and my guest, upon joining this gym the 15 minute break was never mentioned, one of many hidden rules. If you're a PF member then you already know about the huge swing in quality and cleanliness from site to site. Case by case - No continuity. Most are bad and a few aren't fit to house the vermin living there - Filthy. Inept employees further contribute to the disappointment and sadness. Can we really expect anything else for 10bux a month? What business model failure sees no need to raise prices for over 20years??? Even so, you can find a few locations worth joining.
