Me and my girlfriend dined in because neither of us lived in the location (just visiting the Buc-ees close by) and wanted something to eat. Food was average, but that chicken-on-a-stick (some may call it Teriyaki Chicken), MY GOD! SO GOOD! Really meaty (some places skimp on the portions), and the flavor was awesome!
Service was spot on, and they took the empty plates and refilled the drinks promptly. Sweet tea was good! 👍🏾
I think some of the reviewers are trying to make this out to be a buffet from a larger city. While I'm from a larger city (and the buffets have greater variety), this was a nice quaint place to visit.
The surrounding area doesn't have a large population, so I tempered my review as such. I would come back again, just not on the weekends. The buffet was kinda pricey (two people are for $30; really $29. and some change) for a Saturday (most prices for buffets are higher on the weekends). That was expected, and not the restaurants fault.
The place was clean, the food was hot (the chicken and broccoli was another hit: chicken was moist and the broccoli had bite); I mean, that's all you can ask for.
Like I said, it's not a large surrounding area, so the variety can be lacking for some (they had something for everybody), but I enjoyed it and the food filled both of us up....
Read moreI drive trucks so my two kids and I stopped there because we really wanted Chinese food. The service wasn't the best from the beginning, but to find a long gray hair on his onion rings and then a small black hair on my broccoli really took things to a different level. I took the plate up to the front to show the lady what I found. She was taking pictures and trying to act as if she didn't see the hair on the broccoli. She then proceeded to tell me that sometimes broccoli has hair like. I stopped her tracks and let her know that I have been cooking for years and I never knew broccoli to have hair! Needless to say, I told her that I wasn't paying for my food and only paid for my daughter's food since she was the only one who didn't find anything in her food. I will never ever ever go back to that...
Read moreOk, Super Hibatchi Buffet...... well, it IS a buffet. Set in a former Ryan's, this place is the go to for quick, easy, fast Asian cuisine. The food is not bad and the sweet tea is delicious. It IS definitely quiet enough to hear your significant other, wife, friend, whoever you bring, across from you talking. In reality, it is time for a make over, a redesign of the interior. New colors, styles, something. The staff are friendly and there when you need something. Pricing isn't going to rob you blind and worth the buffet you're about to go at it. Plenty of seating, so that won't be an issue. If you get a hankering for a reasonably priced Asian buffet and don't want to travel far, I would suggest Super Hibatchi buffet. It'll fill you...
