My kids have gotten used to basically going to 2 places to grab food (those are the only places mama likes). So with me, I try to push/encourage other places to eat. They weren't really up for it, but was convinced to try out Sub Delight. The 3 of us went in, and they were looking at the menu and trying to decide what they would want to eat. After a few minutes (a several people came in after us and I let them go ahead of us...otherwise we would have been able to place our order immediately), they finally decided what they wanted. They both got 6 inch worth of sandwich. I say 6 inch worth because they cut everything up into 3 inch pieces. So 6 inches you get 2 3's and 12 inches you get 4 3's. We sat there and ate (even better since they have free wi-fi). Service was done in a timely matter. The kids ended up loving it and have since asked to return. It's fair priced for what you get at say Subway, but it has better flavor (bread isn't has hard) and you definitely get more meat than you would for a standard Subway sandwich. No military discounts...
Read moreArrived today 5 minutes before the restaurant opened and waited outside with several other customers. Noticed the worker on the phone inside taking orders before they opened. Then she opened the door late, around 11:05. We then had to wait till she was done with the big phone order. I let the two gentleman who were Sheriffâs Deputies in front of me and they were told that it would be awhile for them to get their sandwiches, so they left! Not very good Customer Service at all for a new business trying to get started in a small town. First come first serve should start at your posted time of opening and in store customers should always get priority over a phone order.
Update: My perception from your response is that you stand by your choice to service the phone order before the 15-20 customers that were in store waiting. Even though the customer that placed that order wasnât even present. And you are OK with the several customers that walked out, because they saw customers without food waiting 40 minutes after you...
Read moreOk, here we go. This Sub Delights was bought out from the original owners. It is NOT downtown like the other location but it is now on W.C.Bryant Parkway. For those that do not know, it is just down from the Burger King, opposite of Pet Sense, next door to a fitness center. Now that we have the location down, let's talk about the place and the food. The place is reminiscent of a deli shop. Plenty of places to sit but don't show up at lunch time because they are busy! The subs are still fantastic!! Huge! Don't bother with going to Subway or Firehouse after you've had one of these subs, the others just won't fill you up. I got the Italian sub and she got a turkey sub. The sweet tea is also excellent. The bread tastes fresh and for a "cold" sub, the meat is cold enough. The ingredients made in the subs tastes fresh. What more could anyone expect? I would definitely suggest giving them a try if you hadn't been already. And the prices are as comparable to either Firehouse or Subway but with...
