Waffle House — Restaurant in Georgia

On our visit to this waffle house myself and my husband went in the waitress was already in a foul mood didn't great us. We sat down took 5 mins to even take our drink order then another 5 mins to get our drinks when she brought our drinks she had her fingers stuck down in my husband's glass of water didnt leave any straws she took our order my husband tried to get her attention 3 times to get creamer for his coffee and some straws. When she brought the food it was wrong and the grits was hard and lumpy like they have set all day. We asked for creamer and straws she took my husbands plate back to be fixed and bacon that was not even cooked hardly she brings the straws and creamer and throws them on the table. She finally brings my husbands plate back again its wrong and she says to me I thought you ordered light bacon. Umm no no I ordered a side of bacon. So we ask her to fix it again and she gets mad sets our bowls of grits on the counter behind us and we had just had enough of her attitude and the fact they couldnt get our order correct so we walk out. I crank the truck and look and she is storming out of the store so mad screaming at me that we have to pay for our food or she is calling the police we tell her to go ahead that we were not paying for something we didn't even get to eat that they still had not corrected. We usually don't have a problem at this waffle house we go there several times a month but this night done it for me I will never eat at this waffle house again. I will drive a extra 15 to 20 mins and go to the next one across town. The way that waitress acted tonight she don't need to be working were she has to deal with people because her whole attitude stinks. And if the manager don't do anything about her I'm sure it will continue and this waffle house will end up losing a Lot of business...

The overall experience was unpleasant. Every time I go to this WaHo the food is undercooked/overcooked, the coffee stale (found out this is because they clean their coffee machine once a week while other locations do it multiple times a week), and the service lacking. My coworkers and I wanted to go to a waffle house, and I recommended the one either down Mars Hill or Dallas Acworth Highway (92 heading towards Dallas), but they wanted to go to this one so I warned them but we went. I went in with low expectations and ended with worse expectations. I asked for the same thing I always order at a waffle house in the evening: all star with hash browns smothered, light bacon, raisin toast, and over medium eggs with a large milk and a chocolate waffle. So, I got my milk which was not even cold then I noticed them put waffle batter on the waffle maker which looked like a lump of fat (not runny whatsoever), then when we got our meal my bacon was fine but my friends bacon was charred beyond belief. My eggs' yolk was broken and fully cooked (looked like it was cooked too fast), my hash browns undercooked with onions not grilled at all), my waffle was 3/4 the size of my coworker's waffle, and 1/2 of any other waffle house's waffle size, and to top it off the server never checked on our table. Then when I gave her a $1 tip she proceeded to smirk to her coworkers and say "$1?". I will never recommend this Waffle House to anyone and anyone that tries the other 2 waffle houses in the...

Love this place we come 4 times a week. However last 2 times. Steak was rotten and poor service. I saud nothing because i know their is a lot of new people. I am here now the newer waitress is messing up on all pieces of our order. I have not got our food yet. Lets pray its ok this time. I would hate to go farther to another waffle house. I have been coming here for 15 years plus.... help waffle house.

Ok this is as if October 19th 2021. I still love the long term associates. I will not name them. I went yesterday and this morning with my wife to see old friends since we have moved further north. My new Waffle House has great associates as well. This morning at my old waffle house the BLT bacon was burnt. This new temporary associate from another store I was told later. He asked if everything was ok. I stated no but its ok I will eat it. He was rude and I replied again its ok. He continued, I asked him calmly to please not embarras me. Well he then stated "do you want to fight" and started as if to take his apron off. Well feeling threatened for my Well being and wife's I stood up and said yes I do. This when the Manager tried to stop him and my wife me. They sent him home, I spoke with a higher up later and all he receives is a warning. I hope my friends at this and my new location the best because many times they are very short staffed and have GREAT Attitudes. But I guarantee my hard earned money will never be spent at another...
